Cuz in Hong Kong, you can buy cars from different dealerships, like someone might sell a wide range of cars from mercedes to lamborghinis... so I was just wondering.

ooOoo thank goddess Nismo will have skyline parts! The reason for my excitement is because lately I begin to grow in luv with the Skyline GT-R VspecII R34!
I dream and plan about getting one from Motorex later in the future, but imagine the many years that will pass by. Its like...will motorex still be in business by the time I want to buy one? Will replacement parts for the skyline will be available at any company by that time? I understand about how they store extra peices and stuff in a hardware place but wherever I look at places online such as K&N or many other sites, there are no Skyline parts listed. The only Japanese supercars they have or for RX-7 and Supra, but no skylines?
Makes sense to me when it's very VERY rare for a skyline to be in the U.S. So they only make parts for cars that can make huge profit from the HUGE numbers of sales in the U.S.
But I feel glad to know that NISMO will be having them! I almost forgot about NISMO and Nissan being a team. sad me...

I'm sure some company will still be around to import R34's and older models but in 2007 nissan is supposed to release a new GTR that will be available here in the US so as long as they don't screw it up (which I doubt they will especially since they've been doing such a good job recently with their new cars) you could get one of those. However here in the US it won't be a Nissan Skyline, infact even in japan it wont be a skyline, the skyline will be like the infiniti G35, it will be aluxury brand. the next car will be known just as GTR so here it will be an infiniti GTR not a nissan GTR. By then nissan should have some parts for them, I don't know if they will be NISMO pars especially on an infiniti, but they will be still made by nismo, just under a different name. I think they will be called R-spec parts but they will be the same thing.McLaren'sAngelHiya!![]()

skylineGTR_guyOh and Dorifto, Yeah shes a girl, who has very good taste in cars. I'm finding more girls that like skylines, thank God, becasue who ever marries me has to put up with one and my obsessivness![]()
VIPERGTSR01Hey when you drive a Skyline (R32 onwards), you always get chicks that ask for your number (like last night for example).

The reason you can't find parts for the GTR that easily is because since GTRs were never really supposed to be here, they don't keep the parts in stock because it would be a waste of money. If you want parts for the GTR you'll either have to go to japanese sites or have them specially imported by a company. For example TOP SECRET just opend up a tuning shop here in the US, that would be a great place to buy parts. HKS carries parts for the GTR but not on their US website, to get those parts you would have to call HKS and have them special order it.

Well they are redesigning the GTR it will look nothing like the concept, I'm sure Nissan won't dissapoint us, but the performace specs going around are quite nice indeed. Anyway if the body is ugly nothign a nice bodykit can't fix. Hey if we don't like it we can always go back to the R34McLaren'sAngelHiya!![]()

oooOOoo I like you!*adds SkylineGTR_guy to her list*
Yea wut a sign of relief with the information you gave me! It's good that you told me all of this so that I can keep on dreaming and not giving up on owning a R34 Vspec II

. It even makes sense to me of how you put it to sense in my head of how there are people who own cars that are 40-60 years old and can still get parts to keep the car running.
But of course, their are times when you just gotta give it up on it because the R34 might be too expensive by the next 10-100 years or so...
and I might like something else by that time.
I was thinking about wut you said about the new GTR that will come in about 2007 and read some info on it back then. That time though I wasnt interested in that Skyline until the last two monthes. Then since you brought the info back to me about the new GTR slated to be in 2007, it brought me back to thinking about it again. I am not sure myself if I would like the new GTR that will come out because if the way the rumors and stuff are flying around about it. Also, I am not really into the Infiniti G35 "look" to the car and think its kinda ugly IN MY OPINION! no flaming plz!
Also, I have seen those pictures of the new GTR that people would say its a concept or some pictures where people would say "Its a fake picture made with photoshop" and my impression from these pictures I have seen of the new GTR: EEEWWWWW! To discribe the pic I have seen...It looks like a Nissan 350Z with some changes on the body that made me dont like it...I hope that when the new GTR comes out, it will have a good GOOD amount of resemblance to the Skyline Series and maybe if they dont keep it that way...I hope the look will be very attractive to me to get it!

Just out of curiosity, what are you planing to be to finance you GTR? I'm going with pharmacy, easy job with VERY good pay, and guess when I graduate from pharmacy school? Yup 2007, and guess what my graduation present to myself will be![]()
JohnBM01Wow, Dorf... stooping to a new low... OF COURSE McLaren'sAngel is a girl! Whomever else daresay ask if McLaren is a lady, don't even consider asking. I mean, the Angel is free to express herself anyway she pleases. She's a hell of a woman and a wonderful addition to GTP.
And by the way, congratulations on your new buddy Skyline, McLaren'sAngel. Looks like I have another dummy to add to my ignore list. Or should I call it the "guess who got flipped off and OWNED" list...

aww John dont get mad or dissapointed. Jealousy is wut turns us all into enemies and to kill one another. SkylineGTR_guy did not do anything or is attempting to like HIT on me or anything, he is just being who he is!![]()
The new model wont be a skyline GTR, from now on skyline will be just a luxury brand and the performance brand will be known only as "GTR" so it will be juast an infiniti GTR. As for the R32, R33, R34 series I'm sure by then more companies will be able to import them, I know of 2 right now who are already RI"s (registered importers) and are workign on getting their approval to be able to work on skylines, so I'm sure they'll be cheaper. I'm sure parts will still be around too, I mean look at all the muscle cars still around, there are still plenty of parts for them, I'm sure it will be the same for the skyline, you just may have to buy them from japan.McLaren'sAngelHiya!![]()

My mind jump around too much on wut I wanna be but I am sure doctor or even an engineer would do. Anyways...
BACK ON TOPIC! Yea I even wonder even if we can get skyline parts to replace the old beat up or broken parts, by that time...wouldnt the Skyline become rather incomparable to the new cars of the next 20+ years? It's very interesting to me because who knows if the actual SKYLINE GT-R might come back and will be legal in the US
except in a different look I can guess
But we will have to wait and see how the future folds out on Nissan and those who wishes/plan to have a "Skyline GT-R"

Stick with Japan, most US tuning shops don't know jack squat about GTR's much less turbos for them. If I'm moving anywhere razorGTR already has me pegged to move to NZ, hes been bugging me and taunting me for monthsVIPERGTSR01Just noticed I was added to your list
Hey why dont you both (McLaren'sAngel & SkylineGTR_guy) move to Australia, Plenty of great GTR's and Skylines. We can make our own Skyline club
I am going to US & Japan in 2 weeks for 7 weeks, I am hoping to get some great parts. Too bad the US doesnt have Skyline parts, I have high hopes for Japan though. What is the turbo scene like in the US (turbo shops etc?). Will I be able to find intercoolers, turbos etc (I am hoping for a cheap HKS turbo).
