sm7 site meter

after every page loads completely the status bar will still be not quite full and it will say "transferring data from sm7.sitemeter or something like that, if i hit stop the page functions normally
anyone else noticing this?

Sitemeter, for the record, is a website that analyses your site's traffic for you. If you go for a free package, you have to have one of several images at the bottom of your pages.

The one GTP uses is located at sm7.sitemeter.com, so I expect that's what it's trying to load. See if you can view this image. If not, your ISP has probably blocked it or something. You could always do a trace route (start -> run -> enter tracert sm7.sitemeter.com) and see where it starts timing out (you'll start seeing * * * instead of pings).

hmm. well it doesn't seem to be doing this at work, but it was doing it all morning at home. also of note is that it wasn't doing it on the ps3 and this morning was the first time i noticed it on my computer.
