I can't forget the 4c gr3. It was one of the first combos I did. Fun car. Kinda reminds me of the gr3 Supra (or whatever our current combo car is...gadzoo?)...slippery.
So I thought long and hard.
Alfa Romeo 4C Gr. 3 at Alsace Forward
Fair weather. I forgot the exact time of day I was testing. It was noon or 1:00pm clear maybe.
Updated, thanks for the reminder!@BradESPN dont forget to update OP incase people missed Mike's selection and want to practice
I really hope my wheel shows up early........Great combo Mike!
Ordered the T300 RS GT with the 3 pedal setup and yes I could try a controller, but it's been since GT5 that I've played with a controller, Lol. I'll maybe practice a bit with the controller and see how bad I am first. What did you end up buying?
Also - could just race with a controllerI did for a long time.

Not sure if I should practice or just save energy. This one's gonna be exhausting. Or maybe just put tc on 5 and cruise![]()
Yeah, let's stick with the qually/timing change for this week, and then start on the multi-class/SS tires stuff in a week or two.
With the dropping of the qualifier, we have two options:
Option A - Open room at 9 (EST) start race at 9:30
Option B - Open room at 8:30 (EST) start race at 9:00
I really don't care either way, but I know @Neutty (and probably others) are sacrificing sleep for SNAIL, so I'm leaning towards option B.
Based on popular opinion, going with Option B - In other words, the race tomorrow night starts at 9:00 (EST).
I'll open the lobby by 8:30 (EST) at the latest.
We disable all the assists except ABS.
To add to this, Brad and I have discussed how to deal with the starting grid.
We both agreed the best way to deal with the starting grid is as follows.
Front of Field - Reverse grid from previous week (bottom half)
Middle of Field - Newcomers and previous week's DNFs* (sorted in order of arrival in the lobby)
Back of Field - Reverse grid from previous week (top half)
*Drivers who purposely sit on the side of the track, or in pit lane will be counted as a DNF
The point of this was to ensure that people who show up weekly and finish the race (even if the race is going very badly) are rewarded for finishing with a higher starting position the next week. It also dissuades people from leaving the race if it's not going there way. However it also ensures that new drivers who join, or people who miss a week aren't put at the very back of the field.
There is no way to "hold" yourself in the pits is there? If something came up that required stepping away for only a minute, is the only current method is to pull off to the side and put the parking brake on?
When you enter the Pit, nothing happens until you select the Tire Change. So, if you need to step away, don't click on the tire change and nothing will happen until you do.
Another Series has a mandatory 5-min pit stop - and that is how the requirement is met.
Obviously there will be some discretion when applying the rule of "afk for too long counts as a DNF"
It's mostly just to prevent people who abandon the race because it's going poorly, but still want to receive the credits/mileage points.
Imo if you sat in the pits for a relatively short amount of time it should be fine, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
