Sorry I missed it, but what did everyone think of the Renault? You rarely see it in the dailies (ummm, I mean weekly...) but it pops up in the t100 times a lot. I love it and race it as much as I can. Can be a bit squirrely if you gas it at the wrong time, but get in a groove and I think it's a really smooth car to drive.

First time I drove it, I love it.

Once I learned how to get thru the Hairpin without inspecting the barrier - it was an enjoyable and dependable "drive".

I agree, that hairpin was the trickiest part of a smooth drive.

The new tire physics model also was noticeable, as once the tires were “gone” they were gone. Especially if you had a spin on one of your laps. My pit strategy was hampered quite a bit if I did an unintentional donut during a lap - the last half of a regularly scheduled pit lap was brutal. Will just take some getting used to.

I did the whole race on hard tires and I have to say they held up nicely. I did stints of around 8-9 laps and at one time I had six consecutive laps in the 2:01's. I did try to drive as smoothly as possible to conserve them.

Edit: five consecutive laps, then I had to pit ;)

Prize A Selection (from @Neutty, who let me pick the car):

FORD GT LM SPEC II TEST CAR on RH, RM, or RS Tires (default tire/fuel wear of 3x) @ Circuit de Sainte-Croix - C - 15:10 Fine Weather

Yep, this is the same combo that we'll have on Sunday... which is good - we can practice for both events at the same time (and the daily/weekly race in sport mode).

@thracerviewr, you're on the clock for Prize B.

I'll try to figure something out after tonight's practice.

I was wondering, since I've been moved to D1 for the Sunday nights (aka: my winning days are over), should I remain in the second division for endurance?

Yeah, you should stay in the second division for endurance, but you'll almost certainly move up to D1 for season 3.

Well I’m a moron and forgot to screenshot last week’s results... I know RR and Tex finished 1-2 in D2, and Neutty and I finished 1-2 in D1. Does anybody else remember where they or anyone else finished?

I may still have the Replay. If so, I’ll send you the info (if it’s there)

Edit:
Sorry Brad, I deleted it a couple of days ago.

Only two D-1 members participated in the race last week.
Certainly hope we have a good turnout of drivers from both Divisions tomorrow night.
