Hearing Lewis referred to as "veteran world champion" feels weird. It's nice to see he's killing these records. It wasn't too long ago I had to deal with 2011 jokes.

He's in his 30's with 5 championship. Time flies.
 
Well that was a rollercoaster of a race. Took a ton of damage and had two or three unplanned stops which dropped me back but still somehow managed sixth, so I’ll happily take that even though I got incredibly lucky :scared:

Congrats to the two winners tonight, very well done! :gtpflag:

Apologies to anyone that caught up in me trying to recover my car early on. I looked at the replay and I definitely went too HAM at the start. That spin checked me for the rest of the race lol.

@MikeGrove and @SAMHAIN85 in another league up there!

To be honest, I didn't fully commit b/c i wasnt sure if you were going to turn in. I guess we could say it was a good ole "you go first, no you go first" standoff.

Question: are we allowed to go with more aggressive tire choices? I feel like there's no real tire strategy coming into play and I'm hoping to pick something that will strike a balance between rewarding and punishing certain strategies.

How about a mandatory tire compound change? Out of the 3 choices (RS, RM, RH) you have to use 2 different sets of tires during the race (a.k.a. F1 rules)

Yeah, you can go with any multiplier for tire and fuel wear.

This was considered for Season 4, but we decided to limit the changes to what you see now. We’ll re-evaluate for Season 5 (along with opening up RSS tires and some other things...).

That's where the strategy comes into play. How much time do you lose on a pit stop? Can you make it up by using the faster tire and more pit stops?
