Guys,
With the major drop in numbers tonight, we can push on at 10, or reschedule for 5/8/26. Please message here if you can do the 8th. If any drivers among the 10 tagged here cannot, we run tonight. If you all can do the 8th, your grid spot and priority is established for that date. Please message here in the next 15 minutes.

I can't on the 8th.

Event #4 details are up in the 1st post and updated drivers regulations are noted in the 2nd Post. Scoring for Event #3 will be out this week. Great racing for Event #3 despite the smaller than desired grid size...battles were plenty. Looking forward to Bathurst.

Event #3 at Fuji International

(in order of Season Standings after Event #3)
(both drop scores will be counted for Events 5-9)
Award Recognition
Checkered Flag = Single Race Wins
Track Map Outline = Overall Event Wins

Great race night in our Gr3 V8+ Supercars despite a small 10 car grid after numerous last minute drops from the confimed list. The times and racing were even closer, and I do believe this series could be one of the tightest for average pace and door to door racing. There are plenty of points to highlight, so take a look at the replays...always worth the watch.
Race broadcasts will be made available for viewing, but you can also view the actual in-game replays through the search tag: snailv8sc. Feel free to elaborate on any battle/exchanges you may have shared.
Overall, it was a great night of racing.

Minimal lag/jittering was present across the field, but was overall manageable.

Now for Scoring:
Congratulations to DucatiRobb / @Bologna_Duc (#88) on the Overall Win. Great work!!

Also, Congratulations to our Top 3 Overall:
1st: DucatiRobb / @Bologna_Duc (#88)
2nd: NOVA-0479 / @llNovall (#4)
3rd: Ridger23 / @bublyman (#7)

Awards:
DucatiRobb / @Bologna_Duc (#88), please apply apply a "white" track map decal of the Fuji International track map to your driver side quarter window or in the c-pillar just behind it in recognition of your overall Event #3 win. Also, please apply one checkered flag decal linked below in recognition of your Race 1 win>>>> Awards Link for Details and Decals

Kgffty / @Kgffy (#84) , please apply one checkered flag decal linked below in recognition of your Race 2 win. >>>> Awards Link for Details and Decals

Series main Spotters Guide and Driver Profile page has been updated in order of driver standings with award tags and overall podium placement acknowledgements.>>>Driver Profile Page and Spotters Guide Link

For any drivers that care to participate in displaying their Driver Standing for next event, please see the spoiler tab below for details. Please verify your current driver standing on the scoresheet provided, or by the driver profile page linked in this post. Please be sure to update your livery prior to each event. If in doubt, simply remove the numbers before the event. See the Spoiler tab below:
Driver Standings Recognition
Drivers will be encouraged, not required, to display their current driver standing going into each event after Event #1, though there will be a few rules and requirements.
Drivers who are interested in diplaying their current standing, should collect the following green digital numbers 0-9.
19298d4c15a5-screenshotUrl.jpg

After scoring is finalized and Post Race report issued, drivers will be cleared to edit their driver standing on their number board along with any award tags. Drivers should apply their Standing on both side's boards and be sure their number is in line with their actual standing in the Championship.
Should look like this:
19298d4a4df4-screenshotUrl.jpg

Rules and requirements:
To maintain accuracy and integrity to this recognition, drivers who choose to add their standing to their car will be required to submit an updated profile picture before each event with their scrutineering tuning sheet. Submissions will be reviewed post event just as I do for the driver regulations.
If a driver forgets to submit the car picture with a standing displayed or has the wrong standing placement displayed , it will result in a 5 point penalty against the overall event score. This has to be in place to ensure that those who want to display their standing, maintains the attention and accuracy for it to be credible.
If choosing to display, be sure your edited livery is correct, accurate, and saved prior to each event. If unsure or not interested in displaying your standing, simply leave it blank or just apply double zeros.
The profile pictures will not be used for the Driver profile page, only for scrutineering to maintain the integrity of this recognition.
Again, this is optional, but if done correctly, it will be a great way to know who is where in the standings as the season unfolds.

Below is the PP Regulation changes after Event #3. Drivers with changes noted, please adjust and tune accordingly.
Race Lobby PP Max Regulation for Event #4 remains set to 755.00 PP
(PP adjustments are based off of raw preliminary results, before the issuance of any penalties)
(Please be sure to set Max PP correctly, as noted above, for practice lobbies to allow those drivers with concessions to enter)

Next Event (#4) Driver Regulations is noted in the far right column.

Event #3 - Fuji International

Event #3 / Race #1 Recap

SpotterGuide.webp

Preamble:
We wrap up the Asian portion of our season in the foothills of Mount Fuji at Fuji International Speedway. It's the 2nd consecutive year Fuji appears on our schedule.

At approximately 17:00 on race day it appeared that we had a full grid all set to go but life got in the way for several of our drivers. A quick debate on postponing the event was had but ultimately, it was decided to go ahead with the Event as scheduled. The Event went off with only 10 drivers on the grid but at this time. It was just a weird day where life got in the way for several of our drivers.

The changes to the grid from Event #2 as follows:
A welcome to @ThOrangeGoats who made his Snail Friday Series debut.

Qualifying Table:
Quali Table 1.webp

Quali Table 2.webp

The Pole bonus goes to @Bologna_Duc with his 1:38.020 which bests by over 2/10th of a second @bublyman time of 1:38.264. The two of them will start on the front row. @Kgffy and @DRD_Niagara will start behind them on the 2nd row. @Yugofan and @llNovall on row #3.

@JDMKING13 missed the qualifying session but showed up in time for the main Event and will start from the pits. (or rear of the grid)

Event #3 / Race #1

LAP #1:
From the shadows of Mount Fuji, it's lights out at Fuji Speedway. @Bologna_Duc gets a good start and will take space away from @bublyman. @llNovall's Viper also got off the line very quickly. It's a drag race for the entire field to Turn 1.
SHARE_20260428_1226520.webp

LAP #1:
The smaller grid meant that cars had much more room early on and everybody got away cleanly. @Bologna_Duc leads the field through the technical 3rd sector for the first time.
SHARE_20260428_1227240.webp

LAP #2:
There's a few bollards will be getting a lot of abuse in this event, but not on this occasion. @cesarr64 (running 8th) shows it respect and give it a break and gives it plenty of space on Lap #2.
SHARE_20260428_1227460.webp

LAP #3:
The train of cars was long and compact for the opening laps. @DRD_Niagara was feeling pressure from the cars behind him but the train got a little shorter when @cesarr64 and @ThOrangeGoats missed their breaking points and went too deep at Turn 1 of Lap #3. @JakeMk8 would gain two positions and improve from 10th to 8th.
SHARE_20260428_1228050.webp

LAP #5:
@Bologna_Duc still leads @llNovall at the front. But the battle for 3rd is tight. It was held by @Kgffy but he came out of Turn 1 a little loose and that was enough for @bublyman to claim the spot.
SHARE_20260428_1228270.webp

LAP #8:
Real tight and clean racing between @Kgffy, @DRD_Niagara and @Yugofan, running 4th through 6th at the Dunlop Turn 10.
SHARE_20260428_1228570.webp

LAP #9:
At the mid-point of the race, it's still @Bologna_Duc who leads and he's got a few seconds on 2nd place @llNovall. @bublyman still in 3rd.
SHARE_20260428_1229220.webp

LAP #12:
These American cars were monsters on the straight at Fuji. Even teamwork between @bublyman and @Kgffy isn't enough to reel in @llNovall's Viper.
SHARE_20260428_1229510.webp

LAP #14:
@Bologna_Duc running away with this one. He's pictured to the right of the Audi sign in the distance. However there's lots of action just behind him. @Kgffy managed to briefly get ahead of @bublyman on the preceding straight but went slightly too deep into Turn 1 which gave the position back to @bublyman and allowed @DRD_Niagara through as well.
SHARE_20260428_1230110.webp

LAP #15:
@bublyman was dialing up the pressure on @llNovall for extended periods of time but just couldn't get by him. But @bublyman exit at Turn 15 would prove costly and he'd drop some positions. A further @bublyman error between Turns 3 and 4 on the following lap would cost him again and he'd drop down to 8th.
SHARE_20260428_1231000.webp

LAP #19:
@Bologna_Duc was too much in this one. His Pole Position helps him to his first win of the season. He's free and clear of the rest of the field by 5+ seconds. @llNovall and @DRD_Niagara will stand next to him on the podium.
SHARE_20260428_1231330.webp

@Bologna_Duc lays it on extra thick in this one by also posting the Fastest Lap of the race with a 1:37.968

Final Event #3 / Race #1 Results Table:
Race 1 Results 1.webp

Race 1 Results 2.webp

Event #3 / Race #1 Broadcast:

Final Thoughts:
  • For some reason, when I pulled my pics and did the broadcast, @ThOrangeGoats's livery has defaulted back to the usual Mustang livery. I'm not sure what causes this to happen but it's too bad.
  • Nice to see the Event wasn't affected by the weird "stalled cars" that we've been seeing in lobbies lately. Did the GT7 1.69 update mention anything about this in the patch notes?
  • We've got some new recruits over in the Snail Spec League and a fresh season starting next Sunday. Come on out and show them a good time.
