So did you use your 15th AE cars?

I've only tried my 15th AE Audi. It's not good to drive at High Speed Ring in my opinion.

Use the majority of them in career mode. Used a few online. Most are great! Don't like the Scirroco though! Glad I went that route!

No. I haven't even entered the codes yet. Want to play the game a bit more first, in its most basic form - haven't had much time to play it yet.

Then later I have the further excitement to look forward to when I unleash them.

The sheet with the code on it said valid only from 12/4 - 12/6. I did enter mine on 12/6 and have had to use it again since. Hope your code hasn't expired.

Not going to use mine until later, and I really wish that I could stick them in the Stockyard without worrying about anything going missing; they're just a large lump of blue, separating all my pretty cars (an annoyance). :ouch:

Actually, I did stick them in the Stockyard for about 10 minutes, then I saw the postings here about the Stockyard disappearances and flipped on the PS3 in great terror. Sure I don't want to see them now, but it will be a completely different story when I actually have a properly successful career.

They're really great cars! Yeah, they're all blue with the tire stripe, but most are great driving fun!

I had to settle for a standard edition, I wish somebody had a spare Gamestop US code to pass along to me.
Lol you can probably find something on eBay but, chances are you'll be paying top price for it.

Since I haven't glitched my way threw the game(just haven't had time, I'm no saint). I have used at least one of mine so far. I'm actually looking forward to using more. WTH you got the cars you may as we'll see what they drive like. I really want to see how they compare to their standard models unfortunately I haven't had the chance yet.

Even though I didn't originally plan to use them, I've honestly driven and used almost all of them; They're pretty nice to have and are a godsend for trying to do a "Minimal Buys" career mode (At least until I've unlocked the S Liscence Events).

They are not nerfed, if anything they are slightly stronger than the dealership models

Nerfed? You so know that they were "specially tuned and upgraded" by PD right? No doubt they are different than the real life versions.

Yes, nerfed.
For 98% of them, no aero kit options, no flat floors, no wings, no wheels(other than huayra/viper)
Power and weight numbers are in some case higher, in some lower than regular counterparts BUT, regular cars seem to have higher overall PP numbers.

maxed out stats compared to base versions:
Shelby GT500 is~ 6hp higher, 30tq higher, 40kg lighter but 46PP lower.
Cizeta is 6hp lower, 1tq higher, 11kg heavier, 1PP lower.
Stingray is 15hp higher, 45tq higher, 3kg higher, 30pp lower.
X-BOW R is 4hp lower, 1tq lower, 1pp lower.
LEXUS IS F RACING CONCEPT is 5hp lower, 19tq higher.
VIPER GTS is 4hp lower, 6tq higher, 5kg heavier, 34pp lower.
Z8 is 3hp higher, 6tq higher, 44kg heavier, 29pp lower.
GT40 Mk 1 is 14hp higher, 2tq higher, 2pp higher.
Alpine a110 1600s is 16hp higher, 25tq higher, 5kg heavier, 9pp lower.
Megane Trophy is 5tq higher.
Corvette Coupe C2 is 17hp lower, 47tq lower, 5kg heavier, 5pp lower(no visual side exist race exhaust).
Focus ST is 4hp higher, 9tq higher, 88kg lighter, 9pp higher.
Huayra is 2hp higher, 14tq higher, 5kg heavier.
Cobra Daytona is 16hp lower, 1tq higher, 3pp lower.
86GT is 7hp lower, 7tq higher, 61kg lighter, 22pp lower.

So I still don't understand your use of the word "Nerfed" here which is usually insinuating the car is broken. And of course you won't be able to modify them, that's how PD wanted it, a special model that can't be changed.

I know, their lovely cars and I really can't wait to to spin them around a circuit, but right now they just separate what I'm currently using from what I've just purchased/won; less so their fault than PDs.

Nerfed =/= broken.
Nerf means something is made less effective, has more restrictions, more limited.

Do the setups(referring to suspension settings, dampers, camber, etc) of each car differ from their stock versions? I must add that the 86GT 15th AE performs quite favorably as compared to the stock dealership model. EDIT: I will check tonight. You've definitely sparked my curiosity:gtplanet:

Would have to check stock settings. Need to revert cars back to stock.

Looks like the GT 86/focus st, all they changed was spring rate. Reduced by .3x/.4x-.6x.
KTM is unchanged. Huayra spring rate is increased .04/.04. GT500 spring rate reduced by .2x/.1x.
Looks like they changed some things just to make it look like they did something, in my opinion.

It reminds me of my chromes and stealths, more of everything but less PP after every mod added. But no, my cars are still on 0miles except GT86 which i used once for the seasonals. Im trying to complete all with out them but will use them online when i can.

I use them, but I'm afraid to use them a lot and need to repair it (especially the R18 that is too expensive).

I just use AE cars when I don’t have any other car that can be used in that race. I’m on National A, so I just used the Alpine A110 1600S on a classic race.

I raced them in Arcade Mode, that I believe don’t count mileage to the cars.

Online count mileage to the cars?

Why would you not use them?, Yes I used them, not all of them, I think maybe 5 or 6 , I ended up using the GT86 the most

I didn't plan to use them early on, but I couldn't afford the cars I needed to race in career mode.

Utilizing throttle control with the X button is like trying to paint a house with a toothbrush; it's not easy.
Haha, I'd say more like brushing your teeth with a chainsaw

Because there's no need to use them as the cars you win are more than enough for most races.
Plus, as long as body rigidity issues exist, I'd rather hold off on using them up.

Not everyone is as good as everyone... Not all casuals pre-ordered so they could be struggling for first time playing with gt6

I didn't pre-order to get the AE cars and not use them. That damn Fit, on the other hand...

I can also say that I didn't expect the AE cars to be used that much, kind of like what happened in GT5 with the chromelines. Glad I got them though, or else I'd be burning through many more credits than I would have liked, to get as far as I am right now in the career. 60% and probably bought maybe 5 or so cars...(including the karts) The million credits would have been nice to get for the pre-order, but it's quite enjoyable earning them instead.

I'm not really good and you have to try really hard to struggle in GT6.
