So did you use your 15th AE cars?

The AE models are more like loaner cars on offer to progress quickly  it covers most of the racing series types (like drivetrain, year model, specific model, etc), particularly the ones requiring classic cars. Classic cars are so expensive but thanks to the AE models, you get one covered for free. GT-40 and Cobra Daytona Coupe are the life savers.

I used them, but not all of them like I thought I would. They were too dark in the replays. I couldnt enjoy them like the normal versions. If the race cars had numbers on the doors like the Stealth SLS, they would look more official. Overall, I am satisfied I did get the 15th AE.

I haven't used mine in the career mode yet, but I have taken a few of them for a spin since some of them are very fun cars, but the cars I've been able to buy so far from career and other mission earnings are pretty dull.

So glad I got anniversary cars or I might have just put GT6 in the shelf after a few days

I've only used the Focus ST, though I said I'd use none, but I used it for one race only

So far I've tried to only use them. For the kart races I've had to buy something but apart from that. They're the only cars I'll use for career mode.

I've been using them to cut a lot of expense; you have to save your pennies/pence/whatever the smallest amount of currency is (in your country) if you don't plan on glitching in this game. The Alpine is probably the car that surprised me the most, I love that car after driving it.

800th Post!

I've at very least got in them and changed the oil. I figured since I have them, might as well use them.

I was planning to only use them in Arcade, but I caved in and used them in carreer aswel :O

Most of the 15th AE cars fall slightly under the recommended PP for eligible races. For instance, the GT86 comes in at 446PP. The dealership model(s) are 406 and 407PP if I remember off the top of my head. Coincidentally, 446PP gives you quite a race in the 500PP events for which it is eligible(if you're an average driver like me). The 15th AE was no extra charge at Gamestop(in the US) so I went for it. I'm close to completing IB race events and I've only needed to purchase the Kart 100, Kart 125, Prius G '09, Toyota GT86. Yes, you bet your next meal I use these cars. I've won all the gift cars up to this point but, wow, some of the cars I'm hearing I'll need later on...Well, let's just say I'm glad I caved on the 15th AE edition. I've earned approx. 2,000,000 CR and still no need to spend money except for tuning the Acura NSX '91(which drives like a dream).

I don't know if I would. When you're in Europe, got confused by the tonnes of preorder options and end up with a US and Canada restricted code in your hands, you can't really use it, unless you start from scratch with a US account.

If anyone, by a miracle, is in the US or Canada but have an unused, european restricted code, we can trade, perhaps?

I have used them some to keep from buying a car I do not care for along the way. Some have been very useful. Pretty sure I will not buy anymore "blue" cars for my garage!

I used the Daytona in the classic US race and am using the Z8 in the iB European races. I know I've used a couple more too. I prefer to use my garage cars though.

I didn't unlock them at the beginning of my Career mode but when I'd got to the point where I had a bunch of fast cars anyway I redeemed my code. I don't really like them to be honest, the massive list of that blue livery is like a stain on my garage. I was hoping I could paint them, it's not that it's an ugly livery it's just that when you have over 20 cars with the exact same in your face blue livery then it gets old.

I've used them a little, the Stratos mostly.

I've used them sparingly in career mode, usually for a single race just to get it out and see how she runs. The only car I used more than one race was the Tesla in iA, tuned all the way down to 50% and added ballast in order to qualify!

I've found all of the 15th anniversary cars to be infinitely quicker, easier to handle and frankly not fun to dominate (more than usual) in career mode. The Daytona Coupe simply corners on rails and breathes fire!

I relied on AE cars for the first half of my career. My favorites are the Daytona Coupe, Honda HSV-010, R18 and GT-40. That way I saved my credits for parts.

Also nice to have the different paints.

I admit that I wasn't planning to use them, but once I had the revelation that money is hard to come by (I refuse to do the glitch) I started to use them in order to be able to do events.

Only ones I've used with any degree of frequency are the IS F Racing Concept, HSV-010 and Audi R18. Haven't touched any of the others besides the Cobra Daytona (for the Classic Race Cars event), the Huayara (for 'Like the Wind' on SSR7/SSRX) and the GT40 (for a few events.)

Ive used some of them, the focus (great car), GT86, z8, Cizeta, GT40...er..that's all I can think of for now..

So did you use yours? Don't be afraid to be honest people LOL! Likewise, don't hate on the people who did decide to, it is after all their choice.

I used them quite often. The VW Scirocco came in handy a couple of times. I also used the Stratos for one of the races with lower PP grade. I also won "Like The Wind" with the Audi R18. That was pretty awesome! I had to tune the Turbo and increase the top speed manually though.

I would have used them much more often, but many of them had such high performance grades... they would be TOO fast for some of the races. I was too stupid to notice, but they also gave us a Pagani Huayra. I actually bought one and then I realized I already had one lol. Derp.

Sure did, only a few though until now. Mainly the Focus. It's early days still in GT6: I had a difficult 24H Nürburgring race at 599 PP in GT5 to complete first, with several re-starts.
So far I have bought no cars, nor have I upgraded anything or bought new tyres. Part of the fun is to see how far I can progress without spending any money in-game, and only applying an ABS of "1" and no other aids. I find the cars more twitchy than in GT5.
