I have a non-regional British accent, which tends just to be known as an "English" accent. I've lived in different parts of the country, and despite having been in Scotland for nearly 12 years, I don't have a Scottish accent.
I do, however, pick up modes of speech, so I use regional expressions.
I swear a lot more in real speech than on the forums, as some of you who've had IM conversations with me when I'm in a bad mood have found out...
Oh, and Boom, you're wrong on the nicest accent thing. The Irish accent (that's Irish Republic) is much nicer than the Australian accent.
