Haha drumming is much harder than you think. No offense, but I hate people who say that or at least hate when they say that.
The day isn't even half over but I think it's gonna be a kick ass day. It's my birthday and I have marching band! Normally I would hate it but today we are learning drill and I get to start once again on snare. Sounds like hell to most but I will be surrounded by my best friends at band, and that's a great way to spend my birthday.
I do understand how difficult drumming is... I've done it before. Just in practices of course. Usually I have to completely rearrange the kit because I'm a lefty when it comes to a drum kit. My snare is to the right next to my leg, and a round through the toms will go from top right around to bottom left (in front of the snare). I still keep my high hat to my left, but my ride is next to it (forwards). I still bass drum with my right, because using my left would be impossible due to the high hat. I think my strange arrangement is because I drum freehand rather than crossing my arms over each other. Oh right, I'm a singer, not a drummer.
