So, how was your day?

So far it sucks. Yesterday sucked, every possible thing that could've went wrong did and I was just incredibly frustrated. So I was looking forward to today because I was GOING TO go to the promenades and just walk around looking at the cars. But now, I'm not going to do that and I'm just getting very pissed off over stupid little things.

Had a bit of an exciting day so far. My mom accompanied me to work instead of my grandma. Just when we were almost finished with work, there was a car crash at a nearby intersection (5th Ave and Virginia St in Downtown Seattle).

After that we bought some fresh pork skin to make Chicharrones and a few other ingredients so my mom can make Pupusas.

Now I'm at home, just waiting for the food to be ready, I'll take a nap for a while.

My day has been great! I had an Air Experience Flight at RAF Cosford in a Grob Tutor. Did some aerobatics, all good fun! :D

Me, my mom, and my sis and her friend went to a block festival in Downtown. It was actually a bit fun but there wasn't much that you would expect from a festival. Plus it felt like a promenade.

When we got home, there was an ignoramus that bumped onto the rear of our car at a 4-way intersection, and as expected the person drove away, so it was a hit-and-run  Good thing the bumper was only half off its socket & that my sister's friend caught the license plate. And to be honest, the waiting was worse than the damage  But yeah, it could have been worse so thank goodness the particular intersection wasn't on the main roads.

Another really good day, but I will start with yesterday.

Relaxed really all day until 4 when we went to Longleat to watch a firework display. It was one of the best i've seen, they really pulled out all the stops.

Anyway today we went to an auction we read about in the paper a few days ago being held at Haynes Motor Museum. I think a company had gone into liquidation so all of their assets were being sold. We got there early and knew what to do as we had been to one before.
There was everything from guitars signed by Paul Macartney to a Monet painting, plus a Turner painting, loads of signed memorabilia. Top of the range teles, ipads, imacs, iphone, £3000 Alienware laptops etc etc etc

Anyway I went with my family and we came away with: a brand new 40" Toshiba LED 3D smart tele worth £900, we got it for £425.
A table lamp worth £500, we got it for £90.
Designer handbag worth £200 for £60.
Various crystal pieces, including cake stands and stuff.
I wish I had the money, I would have bought sooooooooooooo much. Everything was absolutely brand spanking new and was going for 1/5th sometimes of the RRP. That Alienware laptop I mentioned went for £900. Awesome :D

Also to top it off I got a peak into one of the side doors and saw some of my favourite ever cars, notably the Jag XJ220 :D

That wouldn't be the worst choice, mind you though they run OS X and it might be hard to switch at first. You can also run Windows on them, though.

Ya I have a imac already and a mac book pro just not the newest. This computer that broke is at least 8yrs old so I don't really care but I use it for nothing jobs and didn't need a better one. It's a Dell and i called them and did some test but they think the motherboards fried. Not worth fixing since it's so old in my opinion.

The winter has hit here, sort of just happened over night that I went from light jacket to coat. Not too big a deal, just makes it harder to wake up in the mornings when there's no light.

I plan to go out for lunch, maybe have some fish and chips or hotdogs, not sure yet.

I'm in a surprisingly good mood for some reason, I hope it keeps up.

Well it was about 10pm last night when I realized my pc got the blue screen of death. Tried fixing it as best I could and Googled for answers, but no luck. Called my friend who has destroyed more computers than anyone on the planet and he said it's definitely a physical hardware problem but shouldn't be the hard drive. Sadly I can't tell which part failed so it's looking like I'm gonna have to get a new one. I might get one of those super thin imacs since they come with like 8gb of ram and look awesome.

I've had about 100-200 Blue screens this year. I wouldn't be too worried, it's just an inconvenience. :p But then again, I am in need of a new computer again. My current one I've only had for a year (computers must really hate me).

This computer I'm using had like 20 blue screens this year, I changed nothing but startup data and is still going

My day has been good, besides the strange and creepy dream i had last night, it was great as usual. So far my whole week has been good.:)

I'm annoyed today. I went in to the school to get working on my Go Kart, until one of my friends who also came in showed me their sheet (where we tick off which bits of our kits are actually there to make sure everything is there), and he has loads of crosses, he tells me I better check mine. And it turns out, the workshop teacher is really angry because the students who have finished their Karts (he suspects them, and he's probably right) have been driving their finished Karts, breaking them, and then taking bits from other people's kits to repair their ones. So the other students have all paid almost $500 for these Karts, and other people have stolen half of the bits for them. So many students in the class can't finish their Go Karts now (because of some selfish students ).

I then went on to try and finish my graphics portfolio for hand in (which is at 3.30 PM tomorrow), I just have to finish my elevation drawing from what I know, and I'm done. So I should be alright for that. It's clear I'm going to fail the year now, however I should be able to achieve NCEA level 2 about early - mid next year, and with some luck pass level 3 (because apparently level 3 credits can go for passing level 2, so it won't take long). All the work I've been doing today has kept me out of the sun (it was a beautiful day, and I didn't even get to use it :(). It doesn't help that the graphics room and the metal work room are literally about 7 or so meters away from each other so I just move straight on into the next room.

I also come home to come to the realization that RSRBR 2012 (a mod for Richard Burns Rally) is too damn huge to download. It won't work at all until it's 100% up to date, and to get it up to date, it's about 3 GB of downloading. And most of the things I have to download, have to be from Rallyesim. And its servers are extremely slow, like 14 hour estimate for 400 mb slow. So I 'm probably going to have to start running downloads overnight.

One of my friends lives about a kilometer away, this was our conversation after he left my house at 11. (Facebook)

Only took 4-5 minutes to get over to his house, we then drank 2 monsters each, plus an XL coffee, then stayed up all night. (I fell asleep for 3 hours though.)

And we have a math test today, so very, very tired. XD

The federal civil asset forfeiture case against my family has wrapped up today. 3 long years for my folks (72 & 69) and the rest of my family may finally be coming to a close.

Feeling good today!

See my thread in the opinion forum for more info.

Well, had a 2 hour theory lecture yesterday morning, followed by a 3 hour composition lecture. Then did a full length race at Catalunya on F1 2011 (Force India, started 13th, finished 6th). Followed by Youtube videos with flatmates, then the Students Union for about an hour (which was dead), then dragging the blind guy in the flat below me round campus in an Iceland trolley. Day well spent!

Well, how can I start? First off, my mom took me to an exotic car dealership, and there were Ferraris, Porsches, and some old muscle. (Refer to DYSAGT, ESE for pics) I got to talking to the owner of the place, and I'm gonna start volunteering there next summer. And then, he showed me his car (one of them, anyways) which was a Mercedes E63 AMG. He asked me if I had my license. I told him I just have a permit, as I just turned 16 yesterday. So long story short, I drove it, and floored it. My day was awesome, I drove a 500hp Mercedes! At 16 years old. The brakes were huge and a small tap of the brakes is equivalent to flooring the brakes on a normal car. He was super nice.

Well it was going good so far up until my brother asked me for money. When he doesn't get his way of course he acts like a little kid, yelling, throwing insults and so on. So I just decided to be the bigger man and act calmly. But the ignorance is ****ing mind blowing. I get called ignorant for not loaning out MY money which I worked for yet he just sits on his ass doing drugs all day and expects me to hand him money because he'll pay me back? I don't ****ing think so.

Hopefully I get to go car spotting today at the promenades though. If we do go that also means I'll eat at an amazing restaurant. :D

Whew, haven't posted here for a while.

Lately there were quite a few interesting events (so I apologise in advance for not quite obeying the topic).

One of them was indeed extremely moving. On Thursday, we had Mrs Éva Pusztai, born 1925 in Hungary, visit our school. She survived the Holocaust in the KZ Auschwitz and Buchenwald. There was a lecture of her biography and afterwards, she answered our questions. I was surprised by how well she must have aged despite all the terrible things she had been through. She even joked once or twice. But she also gave us all some valuable advice, for example about learning. She said something like this:

"When I was about 16 years old, I was interested in German mythology. Particularly, I read a lot of books on Thor, the God of Thunder, or also called Donar. I was fascinated by the fact that for centuries, people actually believed that some muscular guy with blond hair would create lightning and thunder just by swinging his hammer three times and then crashing it to the ground. That was when I realized that in order to be fooled, one must lack knowledge. So I tell you: Always strive to learn about everything. Always try to amass knowledge about everything, so nobody can fool you like I was fooled. I'm travelling around the world even at this age just to tell people what terrible things happened during the second World War. I want to give people this knowledge so that this never happens again. Never."

That was very moving and I deeply respect this brave and sincere woman.

But there's a downside to this, because I absolutely didn't like the circumstances of this event. In my school, there are a lot of disrespectful people. And while they were sitting in this room together with this woman, they were dead silent, but I'm certain before and after the event they must have told all sorts of jokes about jews, the war and so on. I know they did, they are like this. I hate the lack of respect at my school so much. I even complain to people I know that are like this and all they say is they don't care. :ouch:

Anyway, sorry for the long post.

I'm pretty sure most kids are this way. That's how they are here. I hate it.

It's especially annoying when you're in class for example and they decide they don't care about the lesson, rather focusing on their insanely loud private conversations with whoever they sit next to. I can't understand why our teachers never throw them out.

Had a bit of alone time today. My parents brought my sister and her boyfriend back to school, since they came this here weekend just so they could try to get her semi-broken down car back. I also declared that tomorrow will be the worst day ever.

A sum up of Friday because it was an interesting day too... I went to school on the morning bus to finish my graphics work, I couldn't do graphics work until the exam using the classroom was finished, and I couldn't do metal work due to the teacher not being there. So I went to my friend's house (at 9:30 AM. I was going to go in at 9 AM, but that's too early, give it an extra half hour. No one answered, so I went for a walk, and a Police car drove past me and stopped about 100 meters ahead of me, they just waited in the car. It worried me because I thought they may think I'm truant and not going to school... Yeah, probably not, but still.

Once I got to about 10 meters away they jumped out of their Commodore (the Police use Holden Commodores here, yes), and one walked straight down the driveway, and the other took his time as he sang a song... Yes, I heard a singing policeman. He turned around, looked at me who was about 5 meters away and looked a little embarrassed, and just said, "hello," before running into the driveway. I think they were just sitting in there while the song they were listening to finished. Immediately as I passed the police car I hear a shout to my right saying, "What are you doing here?" I look and my bus driver is there hanging out of his car. I had a conversation with him, and I went back to my friend's house at 10 after another walk about the place... Still no answer, so I walked back to the school, talked to someone there and told them about the Go Kart dilemma, and they seemed pretty annoyed by it too, I then headed off on an extremely pointless endeavor in an attempt to locate and old friend's new house, which I didn't know where it was (I still don't). I had an idea as to what the house looked like, and knew it was near the railway... I walked about 1/4 of the way there, got bored and went back. It was now 10:30 AM, another 30 minutes to kill, so I ate some food and had a walk around the school and then entered Graphics, finished my project and went home... It was an entertaining morning.

And now for today... Today was interesting, I went to my exam and did rather well, I completed 2/3 of the papers, and managed to correct all the problems that were pointed out from my mock exams, and then I went to my friend's house, which eventually turned into an unfortunate visit from his now ex girlfriend who is really getting on his nerves. It seemed she was trying to come onto me (in an attempt to get back at my friend), she failed because I instantly understood her actions, they were really obvious. And then when she was leaving she "accidentally" left her phone there, an action which I revealed to also be intentional. When she came back into the room after packing her crap away in her bag she put the bag down dropping her phone also... I put the phone back into her bag to make sure she didn't forget it, but she still left it behind (BUSTED!!! I feel like such a badass... Though I'm just doing what normal people do). I feel sorry for both him and her, her because I could see how close to tears she was as she left, and for my friend because he can't get rid of her.

Then I got home to find that I actually got two awards from prize giving, one for cabbage computers (yay, I'm the smartest idiot in the class! Probably the smartest Brony in my year group... But probably the only Brony in my year group), and one for music (yay, I did well). So now I'm back home I need a shower, and afterwards, I'm either going to play Richard Burns Rally (RSRBR 2012 is so much fun! Yet stressful as the stages are so difficult), or play Cave Story... But I think I'm just going to sleep. Cave Story is going to be a game I play after the rest of my family goes to bed, because playing RBR would be too loud (the wheel makes a lot of noise).

This post was probably longer than the essay I did in my English exam...

Tired. Long coach journeys from a holiday in Berlin do not allow much sleep.

The holiday was great though.

Went to see the Christmas lights being turned on, in my city. The One Show did part of it, and John Bishop was there too. Cringy Christmas stuff beforehand was not really my thing though, Christmas songs are just repetitive.

^ Did you bother with the unfamiliar text paper?

Why does everyone struggle with Unfamiliar texts? It's so simple, I did the film essay and unfamiliar texts. Text study I didn't do because the text was Macbeth, and I got bored of it.

I was out with a very, very good friend of mine today. Let's just say me and him spent some "quality time" together. ;)

Went to sleep at 4am got up randomly at 8ish. Super dead tired so tried to sleep more ended up getting up at 1pm and was still crazy tired. I couldn't even think and my muscles like wouldn't work all day. Overall day was alright but hate these types of days.
