My ears are still ringing, the fire alarm went off at work, and I was standing right under the fire alarm. I heard from the fire crew that it was near one of the elevators. I work is a 4 floor building, entire 1st floor is businesses the top 3 are apartments, so the alarm went off in one of the apartments. My cleaning partner and I had to stand in the cold and rain for about 40 minutes until the all-clear was given.

I fired up the heater, hanged the laundry and now after having a shower I'm having a large cup of coffee, watching James Mays Man Lab and resting my feet on a fluffy carpet.

Although I did relax today.

Woke up to the smell of Pancakes and Bacon. I hopped on my PC to see my friends playing Minecraft and I ended up doing that for the majority of the day. I organized my work that I have to turn in. Played more Minecraft. Around 5:00PM I got off Minecraft and played some Battlefield 3 on my Xbox for a change and I met a few UK people that were well co-ordinated with their teamwork. Turns out our whole squad was random. We all had mics. I got back on Minecraft checked out what was going on, and now I'm here. Basically my day revolved around the computer.

After waking up drunk, going to town and doing lunch drunk and coming home and cleaning up drunk the alcohol is finally wearing off and I'm starting to feel the wrath of last night's binge.
 
Well my day sucked big time.

some years ago I lost contact with a friend who was on a tri around the world at the time. (cell phones were rare internet was just starting to get on the way)

I tried finding him over the years by googleing his name or trying searching for intressts we had in common. But with no luck.

Today I thought I'll iv it another try and this time I got lots of hits on his name.
Unfortunatly they were all with the same message.

After batteling and beating Cancer he went on his dream trip across south america where he was killed in a motorcycle accident earlier this year.....

that makes me so so sad.

Luckaly I did find his wife and we got back in conact.

But IT SUCKS!!!!!!
 
Well at least you don't need to wonder where he's at. :-)

His reply was meanish depending how you take it. It is true at least you know instead of always wondering even tho the outcome was horrible. Sorry to hear about your loss. Ironically I been trying to find my friend and am slightly worried since we had a deal if either one didn't replay to a message we would assume the other person is dead. They moved all the time so I have no idea where they could be now or any of the current friends by name. They have not responded in months and now an app I used says their account hasn't been accessed in a very long time and they might not respond. I hope they are alright.

As for today I was waiting for a bunch of stuff to ship from China. Three things showed up all today and I was so excited. Two out of three are perfect and this one phone case I ordered it in black and they sent my a light pink. Couldn't get a worse color. Emailed them asking for the one I ordered and was hoping they wouldn't say ship back the old one since it cost me more money. They just said sorry we will send the correct one no problem. Gotta wait another three weeks but hopefully it's the right one this time. A lot of work for a case that cost $1.75 lol.
 
Sorry for not giving the best response. I've never really been the person to say the right things in bad times. Again, sorry.
 
I've done sweet FA today. Got up pretty early and sat around online. Watched Zulu but feel asleep, I think the heating was on too high and it knocked me out. Still haven't eaten anything today and it's 9pm almost. Guess I'll have to eat double tomorrow.

Ugh, I know that feeling :(

My day so far has been average. Slept in, currently eating lunch and trying to be all artsy. So that'll probably be my afternoon, at least until I throw my sketchpad out the window :scared:
 
Great. Got the new blink-182 EP and it's great.

Had drum line practice today and it went great.

Life is sort of coming together for me now.
 
Was pretty good. Apparently someone brought a gun into school and threatened a counselor so they had a lockdown while I was at tech. But nothing happened and I went into work after that. So nothing much is happening when the one guy was working and spilled oil everywhere. So he asked me to help him cleanup and I grabbed the piece of cardboard he had under the car to throw it out.

I come back in and he's doing a weird motion with his hands, I look at him confused. He says 'You made a trail!' and I look down to see a 50 foot trail of oil leading from the garage bay to the door. *facepalm* So I had to clean that up... Got a good laugh out of it though.

Then I got the new NFS MW add on and played that for a bit.
 
Well my day has instantly been improved as my new computer has arrived, and I'm on it now. It's no louder than the old one, slightly bigger, but lighter. And 100% legit. :p The rest of the day was spent strangling a sheep to get it back into the paddock, feeling tempted to run over the dog when riding the quad (seriously, that dog is a pain, and everyone who has to live within a 2 KM radius would probably agree), and waiting for the computer to turn up. :D
 
Spent last night being an idiot.

I noticed yesterday that a lot of universities do years in foreign countries for the course I am applying for. (Still havent sent UCAS off. :scared:) So yesterday I forgot that there are these things called holidays and that the world won't end before I finish university and I can move to live abroad still after university (Or if it ended on friday I wouldn't have started university so yesterday was still stupid.) and sort of tried to re do my list of universities I am applying for based on where they go on their exchange. :dunce:

I really want to go to Japan as I think it is a brilliant country and I might possibly move there but studying there full time was out of the question as I needed a place that teaches in english and now isn't really the time to be starting a new life in a new country, so I got really excited over the chance to spend a year there but I now realise I can go there on holiday or after university.

So that is my dumb evening
 
This morning, I realized how ignorant some people are and my ignore list finally got some use. Then, all afternoon, I ended up playing GameCube games with my sister, which I then owned her at.
 
Crap, I've had a minor sore throat the past couple days and I think I've narrowed it down to the mold I found in one of my cars and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna die from it.
 
Rubbish. First I get an email telling me to see my tutor but I know the bus won't get there in time so I ask for a lift from my mum who says no because she wants her lunch. That made me angry.

Then I get the bus and its slow.

Then on the way home there is a queue about long enough to fill two double deck buses so I walk home. Buses are meant to be every 10 minutes but I saw just one near my house after the hour long 3 mile walk along the same road as the bus goes.

Pretty damn happy. Won myself a grand on a Facebook competition, finally got to see my girlfriend after a couple of weeks of hell between us and her parents, and finally finished off my Christmas shopping list. Productive and rewarding; the best kind of day!
 
The day myself has been rather interesting. I was one of the ones who stayed at the shop to watch for an vandals who may make use of Dec. 21st to do anything destructive. Instead of watching the world fall apart before my very eyes (SARCASM), I got to watch a rainbow come and go over the course of about four hours.

Mayhem, absolute mayhem.

Got to work (I work in a bakery) and my manager seems hell bent on baking as many loafs of bread as is humanly possible, without thinking of the consequences.
So basically I spent the last 2 hours of my shift binning about £1000 worth of bread and cakes, and when you think the most expensive loaf is £1.65, that's a hell of a lot of bread.
We let the store manager know and he was apocalyptically cross (see what I did there?) And the bakery manager is going to get his ass handed to him on a silver platter tomorrow morning.
He was only doing what he thought was best, and is a really great guy so I feel sorry for him. I'm in again tomorrow which I'm not looking forward to, my manager won't be in a good mood and I hate doing close down.

Think of the money Sam, think of the money.......*sigh*
 
Pretty cool actually :) World is still here... day @ job was cool... girl & I luvz each other... still waiting her to be ready to say "us" rather than "me & you"... but is now pretty clear this is going to end like a Disney Story...

Well my day was pretty good overall.:) Got some disturbing, spammy, and really wierd PM's today on here.:odd: Luckly the staff took care of it. Glad to be on a awesome and high functioning site like this!:)👍
 
Ok idk if anyone read what I posted a few days ago about my friend possibly being dead since I never hear from them anymore. Well I message them and it said might not have gone through since they never use the app anymore which is weird. Than on Thursday night late I get a message from them! All they said was basically hey what's up so I responded relatively quickly saying omg their alive etc. I noticed my message before still said it was sent but not received and my current message also shows the same thing. Now I'm thinking maybe they aren't going through for some reason or their message was just a total fluke old message that sent. I was so shocked to see a message from them but it's been days now and still no response.
