Heating and hot water boiler has broken down for the 3rd time in 3 weeks... say no more.

Should take a holiday to Australia. 38°C today and we're in the middle of summer so I reckon the higher temps are yet to come.

My day mostly comprised of staying out of said heat (it's a dry heat too, drains the 🤬 out of you) and finishing off my Christmas shopping list. Also contemplating whether to buy myself a new phone with my cash prize or a set of lowered springs for the WRX.

Odd, in the US people who live in places like Arizona will tell you a dry heat is better because it doesn't feel as hot.

Fun I went snowboarding for the first time with two friends and cherished every 10 feet. Eventually o got going pretty fast down one hill, but I fell back and rolled quite a bit. Got the wind knocked out of me and ski patrol had to examine me. Butt is a little sore.

Ugh, not having the greatest time. I've had the lump under my eye finally start shrinking, and it's having to come up and go across to the center of my eye, and I wake up in the morning and it's holding my eye shut. It feels horrible but at least I'm getting rid of the stuff. But other than that, everything else is good. Nothing in particular happening, just sitting around at home. Occasionally playing drums. (I've had the kit for 3 days, and I've already got a massive crack down one of my sticks. I really am turning into a mini Heylasfas by breaking all my sticks by simply playing.

Play station has corrupted file system... Poo.

Tried everything last night.. to no use.

Level 35 A-Spec and Level 40 B-Spec... to do all over again...

GTA IV, Along with TBoGT, TL&TD, none were complete (around 80% max)... to do all over again...

Red Dead Redemption, along with undead nightmare, only just finished the story mission on RDR... to do all over again.

I'm actually not that gutted, 'cos I'll probably enjoy doing it all over again.. except GT, that's really annoyed me... got to do all those freakin' endurance races again! And the challenges... GRRR!

Well, my sister's boyfriend flew in from Massachusetts today, and they pretty much wouldn't stop touching each other. That stressed my mom out so much that she started yelling at us, which I am seriously debating if I can even remain living with my parents anymore. Then, I realized how pathetic I am when I was talking to and petting my cable box, coaxing it to let me watch some stuff on demand.

Oh god yes when there is 100% humidity out and its 95 degrees at the same time I'd rather die. Feels like your living in a hot, sticky haze that never ends and cloud cover holds the heat in. Horrendous. A breeze won't even make it go away. All your clothes stick to you and life is miserable. Forget trying to sleep, you'll lie awake all night because you cannot get comfortable, everythings way to hot. Think of it as a steam room that is way hotter than it should be and with out the steam, and theres no escape no matter where you go. That's comnig from a New Yorker.

Well today I was given a Epiphone SG Special guitar. :) Spent all day learning to play.

All last week I had been in Bulgaria on a brilliant skiing holiday in Bansko.

I got one of those years ago and still play her everyday! I would tell you to either learn how to properly set up a guitar, our have a pro do it for you. It'll make it play a lot better.

It's been a bit sad. I looked at drum sets today, and found a very nice shell pack that I could afford. But it doesn't come with pedals or stands, so I won't be able to get it because that will add about $200 to the price.

I'm a bit bummed out today really, all of my friends have gone up to Cardiff for the new years eve celebrations, and I should be there too but my manager wouldn't give me the time off work. So whilst they are having an amazing time I'm sat at home with nothing to do.
I can't even see my girlfriend either as she is at a house party and I'm not invited. Looks like a lonely NYE for me :grumpy:

Been like 5 solid days now of being sick. Also been waiting literally 30days for one of my packages to arrive. The thing I wanted the most has taken the longest and may actually never show. Woke up real early because the freaking sun shinned directly through my Window and into my eyes. On the bright side at least it's sunny out and this is my 4000 post!

Get well soon mate! 👍

I just woke up to a mild hangover, having some coffee and lemonade.

Good day, went up to a friends house and we dirtbiked in the snow for hours.
A couple of issues though, the studs that I installed are starting to come out of the rear tire, I think I'll have to move from 5/16 to 3/8 or even 7/16 long studs.

Also, there was so much ice buildup that you couldn't push the rear brake down, and the car was iced up so ad that it wouldn't rev at all near the end of the day.

So good! I learned to play two songs on the drums between today and yesterday (Hysteria by Muse, yesterday, and By the Way by Red Hot Chili Peppers, today).

I had to go back to school, but it was a really good day. Found out I got a 98% on an Algebra II test, did and easy German worksheet, went over the homework I didn't do over break (so I didn't get penalized), and had a debate about the Civil War and Reconstruction in which se classmates said I made excellent points.

I also got to talk to the girl I like, and one friend told me about his crazy partying on new years.

I posted something about Tsukuba lap times in my facebook. Then a friend of mine claims that he can do 45 seconds on a stock R34 GT-R!

I simply commented:

PIC OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN

Anyways, what is the fastest lap time in Tsukuba using a heavily-tuned car? Whether race car or not, except for the X2010 and X2011 of course.

Lol, considering the Tsukuba lap record is just under 52 seconds with a
JGTC NSX, I would have just laughed at him.

What is the fastest possible lap time have you guys recorded in a race or heavily-tuned car in Tsukuba? Except for the Red Bull cars of course...

No idea, that would be for the GT5 thread.
But pretty much any time on GT5 is going to be quicker than in real life due to GT5s unrealistically high tire grip.

For reference, an R34 should do around a 1:06 at Tsukuba.

Finally sent my UCAS off. :)

And spent all morning stressing about how this might be wrong or that might be wrong.

The stress from that was a killer!

In other news, my friends who applied to Cambridge have now received their rejection letters  Even if your ridiculously intelligent, we're just state school kids, so little chance.

EDIT: Okay, one person I know made it 👍

Well, I was selling my G27 and got ripped. Today went to the police and, well, they'll do what they can. I'd like to look at the eyes of that guy. And then beat the crap out of him.

In short today was good. I did what I planned to and even bought new wiper blades for the car.

A very good day today as I bought my first motorcycle.
