Having second thoughts about the practical application of these two words :(

Lady of interest's boyfriend is coming up this weekend from the university just in the city below mine for the next two weeks maybe (they have their mid-semester break a week earlier than we do).

And the faculty ball is next week...

Why are so many of the pretty ones taken already T______T

I feel like I should revive this thread. I'll just give you a fair warning, it's a rant.

So today was the first day of school. Same school, so I know my way around. This should be great, like last year, last year was great. I know almost everybody. Now, see, everyone likes to say how 8th grade is always better than 7th, and as a spoiler, for my story, it isn't, and I can already tell. See, part of what made last year great was the teachers were entertaining, while at the same time you learned something. This year, it doesn't seem the case.

This year all my teachers just seem, I don't know, bland? They're lacking personality. And I know I'll learn with this sort of personality. But I learned quite a lot last year! I mean, take my science teachers this year, and last. Last year our teacher was humerous and fun, but at the same time he got the point across. This year, it just seems that our teacher's trying to hard to be hipster, and you can't do that without making yourself look like a fool. A boring one at that too.

It can't help that I won't see the majority of my friends this year either. I mean, last year I really didn't see any of my friends in any of my classes, with a few exceptions, but most of the people, I already knew. So I could easily hold a conversation with them. This year it just seems they deliberatly paired us with random people, except for the Football players. See, over in Texas, it's almost like if you don't play football, you will be branded as a loser. Well, the school doesn't want any of these football players to be seperated from their friends, so they group them all together. Why the hell would you do that? It's like setting a bunch of ravenous zombies to attack a village. It's just not common sense. I mean, coupled together these guys have an IQ of about 70. Last year one of them didn't know that gravity existed, and this year one thought he was in English when there was a big written sign that said US History. I feel quite insulted to be in the same class as them, especially since I won an award last year for science.

So what's the moral of the story. Don't believe what others tell you about 8th grade being better than 7th, it's not.
 
^ Yeah, don't worry because the years only go downhill. I think yr 12 and 13 get better though.

Anyway, my day. Yes, had a good day. It wasn't good for me vocally, but a good day nonetheless. And then after school some random dude walked up to me and gave me a slip hand out thing for professional vocal training. Because he somehow knows I'm a metal head vocalist. (Get's stared at, I wonder how he picked that up).
 
Very interesting. Worked on my driver profile document to hand in to some companies. Might make them give me some monie$$$ to get back into car racing again! :dopey:

Likewise, got a new pair of kicks, talked to my lady of interest and spent the whole day at home since I only had one lecture today (no point in going on a 45 minute bus ride to get to campus). Life is good :)

The faculty ball is coming up and it's getting quite exciting! Which is where my current state of euphoria will probably end...or not! Meh, all I can say is bring on the weekend!!! :D
 
It has been good so far, got my GCSE results and i'm happy, confused and dissapointed all in one go. I don't understand how I got an A in Graphics as i've described it as the worst exam i've ever done. I'd made my mind up that I was changing from Graphics to English for A-Levels but that now changes everything.
 
Not very good. I get up in the morning to find my computer doesn't want to work. Since I can't go on the internet via computer, I decided to use my iPod. I had installed a GTPlanet app a couple weeks ago so I went to use that. Then I find out everything has been wiped out, including Angry Birds, which I had to pay for. the rest of the day wasn't too bad, I'm just ticked off a bit about the iPod and things.

You can re-download them for free, I delete COD Zombies whenever my mom checks my iPod. (not allowed to play M games until I'm 17 :grumpy: )
 
Ah technology, breaks when you need it right SVX? :dopey:. My day was okay. Except when I threw a baseball at a good-sized tree and missed 8 out of 10 times :ouch:, and I figured out how to change stuff on NHL 2002. So when say Ottawa scores on Montreal it says 'Stupid Goal' instead of 'Ottawa Goal' :lol:. :)

Except when I threw a baseball at a good-sized tree and missed 8 out of 10 times :ouch:, and I figured out how to change stuff on NHL 2002. Well, I didn't go to school today. Sick!!! It's the first sick day I've had in at least 5 years. I don't remember the last time I stayed home sick. Maybe in 2002 or 3?

Pretty good. I had two ensemble auditions, both of which were pretty decent. I've got another one tomorrow and two more on Wednesday. All different auditions for different ensembles at my college. Fun.
 
My boring school started from yesterday(the 30th) and I was late for the bus which brings me to school for the beginning day of a new semester, so I'm kinda feeling sick and guilty about that. :scared:
 
Apart from 7 hours of school today, I finally got my 1 tb HDD installed in the PS3. I accidentally formatted my old hard drive though, which means that I now have to download everything back again, which will take between 25 and 30 hours (PSN games, patches etc.)

I also lost a lot of saves, however most of the important ones are stored online, so that's not really a problem.

Time to fill this bad boy up.
 
Today kinda sucked and still does, i dont get my refund from school until possibly tomorrow at the earliest ANDDD i found someone selling the phone i want for 115 bucks which is the cheapest I've seen for one in that good of condition on top of that i am bored out of my skull. someone come over and kick me in the butt and get me moving doing something
 
It was boring, as always. Yaawn. Just a trip up to the shops for some new clothing, doing NASCAR seasonal, spending far too much money on Lexus LFA's...yeah. GT5 is getting...slightly boring now. But that essentially means everything is getting boring now :( And I don't not wanna do anything :(
 
Alright, so my day today was alright for the first few hours. School wasn't too bad, and when I came home I had some fun playing GT5. That is, until my PS3 suddenly shut down by itself. When I tried to turn it on again, the Yellow Light of Death came :nervous:

It's gonna be a long weekend.
 
Good day today. It's mock exam week, and I had all my exams in the first three days. So I have Thursday and Friday off. Today being Thursday what could possibly go wrong! :)

Ah. Yesterday was good. Got my Canadian Law course swapped for Information Technology (or something similar). Computers used for 3 of 4 classes a day. Boom!
 
Terrible day had first AS level lessons and thought im never going to pass this..
 
It was long for me. Though I still trying to overcome" Your not my type" deal and just keep my head busy for now.
