Not a bad day so far. Finally getting on top of the unpacking and most rooms look normal. Sold my old retro scooter for the asking price and now I'm taking five minutes alone in the quiet while everyone esle is out buying me birthday presents... well, they'd better be!

My day has been ok so far watched tv, currently b-speccing on gt5, haven't done anything else yet been kind of boring but it beats school. :)

Excellent day!

Had a text from my son this morning to tell me that Homes and Gardens Magazine September edition features a 4 page spread of my daughter-in-laws photography.

Well done, Morgan!

My day has been decent. Watched the Olympic TT, and then went to go for a bike ride...

*Walks outside*

"115 Degrees? Thats a joke. I'm not riding in this garbage."

Basically ..
everyday is the same day..
stylistically different ...
organically parallel

yur still breathing..
able to say hello ..
see things ( all respect to those who cant see )
touch things ( all respect and love to those who cant touch )
eat food ..
make fun with you mate.. ( :):sly: )

EVERYDAY IS A GOOD DAY..
( therefore everyminute is a good minute ..
or ... everybreath is a good breath )

be thankful for just being able to be thankful

peace
( ask me how my day is t'morrow.. .. hint : same answer ...hopefully... haha )

How do you stay alive at 115 degrees? :scared:
I'm guessing he means Fahrenheit, he is in California after all :p Today, I spent a lot of time at full speed on my mate's new BMX around the local dirt jumps/forests. Was awesome but I'm completely knackered now and feeling a bit ill after 3 or 4 energy drinks to keep me going, but it was so worth it.

Yeah, thats what i meant. And for added fun, theres very little wind, so I cant even go sailing...

Occasionally we'll see 120, like we did a few weeks ago. It'll easily be this hot till the end of September.

You live in Death Valley or what!?

It's only 106* F here today, slowly starting to warm back up after the last big storm dropped our temps to the high 90's. Tends to say a bit cooler during Monsoon season.

My day has gone OK I guess. Diamondbacks swept the Dodgers at home, so that helped.

And 115 Fahrenheit is how many Celsius? I know human body temperature is about 100 Fahrenheit... So 115 is still the sort of temperature I'd question ones ability to stay alive at.

Well where do I start?
My day didn't really start till 9:30pm, up untill then I was just relaxing around the house. My friend came back from Wales for a day so I went down the pub for a catch up which was cool.
Then straight after I went round a friends house, he has a hot tub so I took my boardies. I got there and immediately started drinking, 1 pint, then a few shots, then a few more shots, another pint. So before long I was pretty darn wasted, all of this was while relaxing in the hot tub with everyone.
We all got a bit peckish so we dug out a disposable barbecue and some burgers. After we ate it was getting pretty late plus the neighbours had already come round complaining about the noise.
I was very drunk at this point so I collapsed in the living room for a bit, then when I was sober enough to stand up I went upstairs and found the biggest bed I could and fell asleep immediately. Only 2 of us stayed round, plus the guy whose house it was.

I woke up at just gone 10am, and saw my friend walking down the stairs. I closed my eyes again but a minute later I heard him running up the stairs shouting "Guys my 🤬 gardens on fire, come on get the 🤬 up it's on fire!!!"

So I jumped up and looked out the window, sure enough there were flames about a foot high and lots of smoke. We ran out down to the hot tub and started shovelling water on it and managed to put it out.
Once the flames had been put out it wasn't as bad as we thought, here's a picture:

You can just see in the middle a little disposable barbecue........whoopsie

Well it was pretty boring. I did start a GT2 game on my PS3 though. :D Had to cut grass so now that I did that and had a shower it's time for some GT2!

I don't know. All my days have been up and down. I just can't trust the people close to me and it's a big problem. I can't understand why ky friends would want to be friends with me. I question if they talk to me to be nice or because they actually want to. Is anyone still reading this? I'd like to ask but it would be weird, and I bet they would say because they wanted too so it wouldn't sound mean.

If you think they are good friends then don't question them like that.

Now if you feel that way about them then just stop talking to them/find some different ones. There have been many situations like that for me, and I did exactly those things, just stayed away from them and sooner or later you will figure out if they truly want to talk to you if they contact you a few days later.

I can't just stop talking to them. For one I don't want to. I like them, I just feel like everything I say is a waste of breath. I find myself annoying- therefore I must be. That's how my mind works. I don't think it's right and I should probably go see a doctor of some sort.

Second is the fact that I am literally trapped with them. One of them I will be beside the whole year. We are both drummers and are both in snare line, plus we will have band class together. The other is the drum major in the band so I see him a lot and I will have band with him also. I don't question him as much. The problem with the first one I mentioned is that he shows little emotion so I can't really tell what he thinks about things I say.

Today I finally for my braces installed. Feels funny, but now I'm starting to feel sore. My mom gave me some Motrin so I wouldn't feel sore when I wake up tomorrow.

They've only installed braces for the top teeth, but they won't install the bottom part until 3 months ago.

I had braces for 6 years. They WILL hurt. Motrin won't cut it, almost nothing will. It will feel like when you bite down, you're teeth are going up into your gums but they aren't. It won't be long before you can't feel them, your teeth will feel like they were before you got braces. Use lots of wax at first, it will help withe the poking and prodding until you get used to them. Try to eat light foods, that are soft like applesauce. They'll give you a list of what not to eat, but the truth is you can and you won't notice a difference.

Yeah I'm worried as to what would change in my daily consumption, but I'll get used to it.

They gave us a biting thing where if you feel pain then you would bite into the thing as hard as you can. It's shaped like a mouthguard.

But hopefully I can cope up with the pain though :)

Packing up my bits today for my stint in London. I've got more gifts packed than personal items. I'm only taking shorts, jeans and shirts, and only the shirts in multiples.

Going to dinner with my friends and family this evening but after lunch I'm going for a massage and to stock up on ciggies; with a 20-a-day habit I don't want to be paying UK prices for a smoke.

London here I come!

@Swara96: I had braces from grades 6-9, they rarely hurt. The reason probably being that in grade 5 I had to wear an expander, the expander hurt a lot, maybe that's why I had little problems with braces, possibly developed a pain tolerance. Anyways, my day was a rollercoaster. Bad because I was squished in a small car on the ride to Windsor. Good cause I got to switch seats. Bad because my sister spent hours shopper. Good because I got a new Montreal Canadiens hat. Bad because an attractive blonde girl was staring at me, she was twelve (Too young to dress like that). Good because my family and I went for supper. Great because the girl I like and I were texting each other. Bad because I'm "just a friend." And the day ended well because the primetime repeat of female gymnastics was on . @Shem: Hope all goes well in London.

Reading those experiences made me feel more hesitant on getting dentist-recommended braces :scared:

My day was not very good. I wanted to kick out my PS2 since I haven't played it in a long time and I suddenly crave the nostalgia. But after trying it out I remembered that the disc reader was "broken" -- the PS2 was still operational, just the reader refuse to read the discs. So I visited a guy in a flea market who sells a lot of games as well as repair services (surprised he was still there, too). And strangely, everything ran just fine. I got a bit embarrassed from that, but I noticed that he used a different adapter, much larger than mines. I didn't bring it up though and instead got a game and the controller.

And now, I regret my departure.. I probably need to be a bit more strict about this when I come back to that guy. But I feel that fate put me in this spot because I waste valuable time playing video games.

My day yesterday was excellent! Went to Wimbledown to see the Olympic Tennis, and saw Murray win twice! And that's the only Olympic event I have tickets to, so it was even better.

Cheers mate.

I just got back from a hair wash & massage and, as like every time I go there, the stylists all gathered around and pondered what to do with my hair.

It broke the first comb so they switched to a metal toothed comb which bent. They then decided the best course of action was to blowdry it and apply half the worlds supply of styling wax into an 'Einstein'.

Walking home was amusing as people literally stopped in their tracks to have a stare at my barnet.
