So, how was your day?

My day's been terrible.

The artery behind my ear is hurting like crazy, I can't get a donut from Dunkin' Donuts, Shop Rite was out of One-77s, I got bit by a moth and stubbed my toe on my wheel.
Day filled with remorse. And pain. So much pain.

My day just went bad as I am now consumed with jealousy.

My brother in law is pretty high up in the company he works for and has just come back from a business trip to Switzerland. The thing that makes me jealous is he gets one of the poshest hotels in the area at £140 per night and also goes to all the nice restaurants.

Oh and everything he buys including drinks at the bar is paid for by the company.

Kind of bad. I forgot my wallet, mobile, and headphones at home, and then left my backpack in the library. :banghead:

I was having a good day until I turned the PS3 on... the network seemed to be really slow and rubbish tonight I had to quit GT5 4 times as it froze up on me! though a few friends had the same problem once tonight but 4 times in one night!!

gutted :(

^ Networks been slow for me also, keep getting disconnected and just generally slow.

But my day was boring. Tech was closed so I got to sleep in until 11 and then went in to school at 12 which was boring as all hell. Then I got home and played some Need For Speed Most Wanted and now I'm here.

Wow, looking at the latest posts in this thread I'm getting the impression that everyone has had a terrible yesterday.
Mines was mediocre; nothing special - but nothing bad either, just the usual uni and then home.
I hope today everyone's day goes much better than they expect! 👍

^+1. I noticed that too.

My day was mostly good. Good morning with friends. But I also just saw this and I died laughing. It reminded me of Top Gear.

I surprised myself in the weight room.
I've been working up to 500lbs on the leg press, and I was going to try it on Monday.

But I was training at 410 a bit and thought that it was getting to be too easy, so I upped it to 460, then 500! : D

But after 5 reps at 500 I thought I could go higher, I was able to do 3 reps at 550, and then I did a single rep at 600lbs. It was only one rep and my legs didn't get quite to 90 degrees, it was close, but I still think that it counts. :)

Next goal is 750, then 1000...

Boring, like always. Just browsing through GTP, looking at my subscriptions on YouTube, watching NASCAR or NASCAR related programs on TV, and taking long naps after staying up all night, all while laying down on the couch all day.

It was awful!

First, it was a Friday. I really do not like Fridays. It feels like it should be the weekend already, but instead, I have another day of school. Plus, everyone seems to only function on half brainpower on Fridays. Math was boring, just a test, which was easy. TV & Film was unspectacular, just the usual editing of movies, with the occasional Diabeetus remix being watched. PE was crappy, where a tall Asian kid persistently told me to step up my game in basketball. Dude, stop. You're taking it too seriously; everybody's having an alright time except for you. Loosen up. He told the other guy on our three person team the same thing. Photography was boring, because I had nothing to do, because I opted to take photos at home, which I would have brought on a USB to edit class, if mom hadn't forgotten the camera.
Lunch was boring. Physics was a mad rush for all of us to get our projects done, where we then went outside to drop our boxes from the second story landing, where the goal was to keep the egg inside our boxes from breaking. Surprisingly, I failed. I'll have to go again on Monday. English was fine, but I was tired by then, and slept a little. As I walked to the Mini after school, some dude told me that my mom was hot. Eww. Once I got in the car, my mom told me that she'd gone across town and forgotten the camera again. :banghead: Went to a burger place after that and got a decent burger, but was annoyed at how small the drink was for the price. Got home, watched That 70s Show, fiddled with the stupid router for 30 minutes on account of it not working, then drove a Rancher around Broker in Grand Theft Auto, and wrote a little. Overall, meh. It was a poor day.

Lost basketball game 44-11. Nothing really more intimidating than a 6'4'' 8th grader whispering "You're mine" in your ear early in the game. (To which my dad replied after the game: "Valentine's Day is over, buddy" =D)

Really a dropoff from our 51-3 win Monday =P. Oh well, at least I got Arby's.

I had some serious rage for some reason yesterday for absolutely no reason, then i got depressed for about an hour and ended up asking out a customer that was flirting with me, she said no but for some reason i cheered up afterwards, all in all it was an odd day, today wasn't much better but nothing bad happened so i count it as a success:)

My day was pretty good, fired up my old pc and played a really old PC game i hadn't played in a while, nothing like a trip down memory lane.:) Thats what made my day.:)

Doesn't sound that bad, nobody got hurt or anything.

I stubbed my toe on an office chair and it gave me the worst shot of pain I'd ever experienced.

So yes, somebody got hurt as well. :sly:

Yes, that reminds me of when I play NFS:HP2 or GT3. 👍

 If stubbing your toe is the worst pain you've ever had then you're going to be in for quite a shock when you break a bone or something.

Edit:

Don't click if you can't handle a bit of open tissue.
What happens when you try to brake while banked over on a dirtbike on pavement at 40km/h. Now with bunny slippers. : D
And that didn't even hurt too bad.

I had a holiday and I went to give music classes to 6-8 year old kids in a private school where I'm a part time teacher when I usually do on Saturdays and Sundays, everything went nomal but when I was heading home, two 7th grade kids from the same school tried to steal my stuff (music sheets, lists) and that did not ended well for them.

No, I didn't beat them, I took them, tagged them from their arms and I went to talk with the principal with them in the office about what happened, the principal called their parents and I saw how she gave them their documents and being spoken that they're not welcome anymore to that school.

Or burning your leg in astroturf

Also, I think that's a bit shocky image, if you could make it show smaller or something

[sarcasm]My day is off to a splendid start.[/sarcasm]

As anyone who knows me may realize, nothing can enrage me like a computer (I know I'm not the only one). So I start my computer with the intentions of listening to Avantasia (because the greatness of Tobias Sammet, Jorn Lande and Russel Allen in one song is just so great), and my computer decides it doesn't have audio drivers installed today, so I restart my computer like I always do when something throws a hissy fit. Still no audio drivers, so I decide to get my mp3 and put all my Avantasia onto that and then plug it into my stereo. I can't find the bloody thing, I spend about 10 minutes looking for it, and then find it under my graphics pad, and literally that moment my computer blue screens. So another 2-3 minutes turning the computer back on, about 15 mintues pushed back due to my computer being stupid. And my speakers are now working perfectly fine. Now my room's a mess from trying to find my mp3 player.

Just bummed around, did the dishes and napped all day because it's cold outside. I usually find something to do when it's cold, but when it first starts to get cold for the winter I fall into hibernation mode.

Well yet another good day!:) Turned my PS2 on and played Star Wars Episode III for the first time in 2 years, still a great game to this day!:) More trips down memory lane for me yet again.:) I think im gonna give GT5 a break for a while.;)

Well it was about 10pm last night when I realized my pc got the blue screen of death. Tried fixing it as best I could and Googled for answers, but no luck. Called my friend who has destroyed more computers than anyone on the planet and he said it's definitely a physical hardware problem but shouldn't be the hard drive. Sadly I can't tell which part failed so it's looking like I'm gonna have to get a new one. I might get one of those super thin imacs since they come with like 8gb of ram and look awesome.

That wouldn't be the worst choice, mind you though they run OS X and it might be hard to switch at first. You can also run Windows on them, though.

Anyway, my day's been okay. School starts again tomorrow which doesn't make me too happy, since there's so much stuff to do. Also I was a little sick over the break and mostly slacked off apart from that, and sure it'll be hard getting back to business.

The day started out good.

I was able to fix my hot tub cheaply and easily with a toilet plunger.

(No I didn't poop in the hot tub, I had a pretty stubborn air lock in it after refilling with fresh water)
