My week has been hell at work. I'm having lower back/upper pelvis issues right now that's preventing me from sitting down for more than a few minutes. Makes it an issue when you sit at a desk all day. I don't have any pain when I'm up moving around though, but the first few steps after standing up from sitting down is a nightmare.

Off to the chiropractor tomorrow for me.

Hey man you need to stretch your hip flexors and strengthen your glutes. Youtube hip flexor stretches there is quite a few. You'll know what I'm talking about more when you see a video on it but basically you want to kneel on one knee and keep your chest up the whole time. You must suck in your stomach to keep your lower back straight and focus on holding your entire back perfectly straight while stretching your hip flexor. Also squeeze or at least try to squeeze even if you feel nothing the glute of the leg that is vertical. After about 30-60 sec on holding that position and concentrating on squeezing certain areas switch to the other side and do the same thing. No need to push real hard just focus on squeezing that glutes, keep back straight and feeling a stretch in your hip. If you need more help ask here or message me. I have helped hundreds of people with this. Gonna tell you right now if you sit all the time you will never fix it. Best is just not be in pain non stop by doing very specific stretches and strengthening exercises.

Started my new job today, got off the chair and pulled something in my back aswell, bloody nightmare! Anyhow, just after a KFC, feel full up we bit sick lol, can't wait until I go home lie in bed and play GT5

Not good so far. I mean, my day has been good in terms of what happened. At least I figured the math out that was really confusing me.

But I have drum line tonight and the thought terrifies me. I feel like I will never fit in. No one is mean to me, but they all know each other so well. I just sit there alone because I'm too scared to speak a word. Plus, I'm worried I won't be good enough, and they will get mad at me when I make a mistake.

But the drum line has also stolen my weekends. I haven't been able to go up north. That place is the happiest place on Earth for me. I do enjoy the drum line, but it makes me nervous and I don't have the retreat to calm my nerves.

I am sorry I feel like I'm misusing the thread, as yes, these feelings are part of my day, but they are more than that. But I don't know where else I could post these kinds of things. Could someone direct me to a thread?

It was alright, aside from the fact that I had to walk to school on practically sheet ice all the way, then it snowed on top of it, and I had to walk home in that.... Note, Converses aren't very good winter shoes.

Brill day! My Birthday so its a good day anyway. But I've been a loner for the last few years and this is probably the first Birthday I spent with real friends. And it snowed!

^^ Happy Birthday Tom 👍

My day went from bad to worse really. Went down some electrical shops to look for laptops and nearly got taken out by a lorry on a roundabout. Didn't find anything that I wanted.
Came back to the flat with nothing to do for the rest of the day, as the only flat mate I tend to hang out with now has a girlfriend so he is always spending time with her.
Spent the evening on the PS3 and as of half an hour ago it started raining in my room. The maintenance team has known there is a hole in the roof above my room for 6 weeks now and they have done absolutely **** all about it. They haven't even tried to make it temporarily water proof. Whenever I see them on campus they are never doing anything, just strutting around chatting to each other.
So now it's going to rain through till 4am, I won't be able to get to sleep because of the dripping.
I'm pissed off. I've already sent some pretty angry emails to various people trying to spur them to get off their asses and do something about it. Looks like I've got to send some more.

Edit: Oh joy, now have a major leak in the bathroom, so it is now flooded.

Good. I went back to the Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) today and saw a lot that I didn't get to last week. Got a closer look at the Viper, Corvette, GT-R, and LF-A. Also got to see the Nissan Deltawing that Lucas Ordonez drove.

We parked on top of Cobo and had a good view of Canada and the Ambassador Bridge.

Was looking through the DVD rack tonight, and found the 30 Rock box set.
Remembering that I had a DVD in my game organizer, I thought that there might be a game in the box set.

Opened it up, and found Ace Combat Zero...

It had been missing for a few months, my PS2 Ace Combat trilogy is now complete. :D

Today was good, woke up late, 12ish I think. Went to the supermarket for some things, came back to the flat and rotted on the playstation for a bit.
Got hungry so I went and got a Macdonalds, chose a big mac and for some reason it was the best tasting big mac I have ever had. On the drive back I noticed it was a completely cloudless night with a full moon too, so I came back, grabbed my camera and tripod and headed back out.
Roamed the country side for 2 hours just driving from spot to spot taking some long exposure shots. Pulled up in one particular car park that overlooks a valley and hills and stuff and it turns out some security guy had been following me in his car, he didn't give me a reason, just asked what I was doing then we had a quick chat and he drove off. But anyway got some cool ones of the car, going through them now picking out the best ones and editing them.
Oh and Top Gear was good.

Those are my favorite kind of days. The ones that start out mundane and uneventful with no plans and then a few random occurrences lead to some kind of inspiration

And you end up remembering the day that would have just faded into the blur that is lots and lots and lots of days strung together...called life.....

.....I have no idea what I'm talking about at this point.

My mind is wandering. I'm going to go wander around the Nordschleife and hope I don't wander into to many walls...

Went into the school today for course confirmation, and surprisingly, I actually made it into all of my classes. I have no idea how, the only problem was that there aren't enough Year 13's taking Graphics this year, so the class simply isn't available, so I had to replace it. (now I'm doing Business Studies)

And then I went to my dad's work depot to be taken home... I arrived at about 10:40, and my dad (who was meant to take me back home) had just left the depot on work matters at 10:35. :banghead: This is how my timing always is, like the time I was walking to the depot to get picked up after a jam with a friend, my dad was sick of waiting because he was there early. He came to find me, I just turned down one street, turned around and saw him drive past on the street I walked off of seconds ago.

I got home, and spent a few hours extremely bored, and then decided to find a computer monitor to buy, because I don't like having this almost square thing old thing worth maybe $20. I left my room to go and ask my mum about it... So I walk out and say, "hello mum," only to be greeted back with, "Oh 🤬, what!?" So I took the most sensible action, and ran back to my room saying, "please don't kill me!" :p

So far....great.

A large weight was lifted from me this morning after getting an extension on my visa saving me a small fortune and my job, but also robbing me of the chance for a 2 month holiday in Thailand. The feeling of relief is absolutely liberating.

Well I was planning on buying some knock off dr dre beats (yes I know it sounds funny) for $13 on sale today. Of course they were from China and the guy had 350 left this was yesterday. Today I checked an he sold a lot but no biggie I was still deciding if it was even worth the money. I decided about 4pm that yes it was a good move even for pure comedy. They look identical to real ones only they have a G rather than a B which makes it even funnier to me. The spec are actually almost identical to the real ones but who knows with China stuff. So anyway it's 4pm only a day as passed I go to order them and it says item has ended. Didn't make sense since there was 22days left and 11hours left of the sale. The reason it had ended was because the guy sold out! He sold 350 knock off dre beats in less than a full 24hrs lol. Did not see that coming at all. I had to email him asking if he had more. He said ya and have me a new link. I want them for the sale price tho but he hasn't emailed back saying yes or no yet.

Not sure you should be talking about fake goods on here, dude. It's probably a violation of the AUP.

I do know what you mean though, as there are people in every town centre here standing around trying to shift fake Beatsaudio earphones for dirt cheap. I would by some if my phone didn't already have a BA speaker built in.

That's great buddy. What a relief.

My travel plans put on hold then... ;)

I was well up for us grabbing a few beers in tropical paradise but I guess I'm going to live there before the year is out so there is still time!!!

Cheers. 👍

Good Moments, frustrating moments, and saddened moments too.

Generally I always have a good day if I'm still breathing and alive. Frustrating moments before football games - always cheering for my favorite teams to win. Saddened but expected (good teams win, and weaker teams loose) when one of my favorite African football teams lost and eliminated in the African Cup of Nations (that team is Niger - lost 3-0 to Ghana).

I'll stretch this one back to the weekend too.

Spent the weekend in the Brecon Beacons, Wales, doing DofE, preparing in the snow for the Pyrenees. Some of the drifts were a good few feet deep, and climbing them was hard work.

Today was fairly nondescript, fairly easy after the weekend, but it's nice not to cycle on ice again!

Terrible.
Started the day with some woman on the bus not knowing where she was going and swore at the bus driver for not knowing either. :dunce:
Then a few stops down an old lady held up a queue of people to tell the bus driver the other woman was very rude slowing everyone down.
Then I fell asleep in class. :dunce:

Haha that's actually kind of funny (probably wasn't at the time)

Today was crazy. I spent my day frantically attempting to hit my bonus quota for work (just barely made it, epic skillz yo)
and in doing so effectively saved my job so that's an added....bonus. What seems wrong about this....? anyway..
Also I was spacing out on the highway and suddenly found myself on a curving connection ramp doing 120mph in my Sonata. Feeling your car on the edge of traction is not as fun when you're going over a hundred miles an hour in a lumpy V6 sedan sandwiched between two concrete barriers 100ft in the air...

Need to lay off the GT. or look where I'm going. or both.

Night ya'll

Great day today, finally feel like myself again.

Woke up at 9 and really didn't want to go to lectures so I didn't and stayed in bed, room inspections were at 11am, failed it probably but couldn't give a ****. I won't be here for much longer by the looks of it anyway.

Had an appointment with a careers advisor later on in the day, and it turns out I am in fact doing the wrong course. From what she could tell from the chat we had and all the questionnaires I filled out I should doing something in engineering, specifically motorsports/automotive which I am well chuffed about.
So she is looking to either get me in a degree this September, or look into apprenticeships. From what she said engineering courses are normally under subscribed and with the qualifications I have they should accept me no problem :D I could do a degree at a uni near me and be part of the student Formula 1 team......dear god I hope they accept me.

I just hope you are good at maths when it comes to engineering degrees. I had that dream once and chose my A levels accordingly. I failed so bad I quit maths and physics after 2 weeks.

Not too smart.

Snow cancelled school, so all of the exam days were pushed back a day.
Yesterday I went to a friends and we played Black Ops 2 Zombies.
We then went to get pizza, after I had just eaten dinner, then at 1:48 we got Big Macs.
Went to bed at 4, and had to be woken by Dad because study group was at my house.

We kind of studied. Which was mostly playing Forza and Gran Turismo 3. :p
We did get work done, and then made 4 boxes of Kraft Dinner for 4 people, and finished off with more zombies. Exam is tomorrow lol.
