    The digital pre-order announcement said:
    That means we can buy in-game money for REAL CASH. Sounds like this trope, isn't it? :rolleyes:

    Well.... that could mean the 20,000,000 credits limit might be absent at least.

    The amounts are rather odd, I think. 500k, 1 million, 2.5 million and then 7 million, what?

    And yes, I think the 20million credit limit may have been removed.

    Its such a shame that the video games market caters so well for those with more money than sense these days.

    If people will pay real money to play in a virtual casino which never repays real money...

    And they didn't rebalance the car prices to boot? That's hilarious. At least that should finally put an end to all of the "EA/Turn 10 are evil because DLC" arguments.

    Relax people. It's not like we haven't all learned how to make credits as fast as possible anyways. Most of us will have most of the cars within a week or two anyways. It's not like it's hard. Now, can you drive the cars fast? That's the question.

    I guess PD is catering to the fools who have too much money and too little common sense.

    This is why the gaming industry is going downhill. Many developers are ripping off their consumers these days. Its sad that gamers who are not aware of how this money-making system can ruin their experience. They'll be bored in less than two weeks for not actually collecting the cars themselves.

    That's not ripping anyone off. People could, I don't know, use their brain and actually play the game as opposed to paying more money to get something they could probably earn anyways.

    That statement assumes that collecting the cars is fun. Driving is fun.

    But there are more casual gamers than hardcore gamers who will buy the game, and many of them DO pay for this stuff.

    I posted this news to GT6 subreddit (/r/GT6) and I came out with suggestion that PD may nerf the Seasonal Events payouts. Thoughts? :indiff:

    Not an issue when we can still have 1) private races, and/or 2) rooms with restrictions. Honestly, I don't see this being an issue.

    You missed the point by a good long shot. There is nothing being limited in the game (other than actually playing the game) when this is offered. All this does is make it easier to get into your favorite car. There is no requirement to buy the credits.

    I don't personally care either way. I rarely play online for several reasons, and it won't impede on myself playing the game (career) correctly.

    dont see it as too big a deal, just like in gt5, people will eventually have more credits than they know what to do with.

    ..or figure out how to do donuts underneath the tracks to gain them.

    what d'you guys reckon on the pricing structure for the options ?

    In UK

    Guessing at:

    500k = £1.99
    1ml = £3.99
    2.5ml = £5.49
    7ml = £8.99 or £10.49 or something...?

    Okay, so normally I give PD the benefit of the doubt with all they do, allowing them to show that they can fix things or improve things without people complaining. But this time, I am disagreeing completely with this decision.
    Thank you PD for making a stupid move.

    If it gives them enough money to spend on getting out and modelling more cars, I am all for it.
