So, tell us about YOUR B-Spec driver...

So far I've only used my B-spec driver for a few of the 4-9 hour enduros, so with just over 2000 B-spec points so far, he pretty much sucks. I just give him an overpowered car for the enduros (heck, B-spec is as cheap as you can get anyway, might as well go all out... :D ) and he runs away from the field on Cruise. He's hopeless with even competition, though. I decided to make him run the Suzuka race in the Nissan R Emblem series for me (in a stock Skyline GT-R Vspec with racing hard tires), as I just wanted to finish off the series before I quit for the night and didn't really feel like running Suzuka for six laps. In the first two laps, he managed to pass one car and lose six seconds to the leader, so I brought him in and took over after the second lap. I came out of the pits sixteen seconds behind the leader, and managed to run him down and take the lead about halfway through the sixth lap. Guess I'll have to put my B-spec dude back to work running enduros while I sleep...

first name for the b.spec dude was so bad that it needs to be cencored....but few races had gone bye he improved a lot now hi's name is jeremy "clarkson"......maybe some day he'll improve..a lot and become STIG

Mine has no name yet, has about 4150 B-Spec Points. Looking at other posts I've often seen the name 'rent-a-****' come up quite a few times along with 'what that **** are you doing??!!!!' many a time.

Mine's not doing too bad. Am making him race the races 1st then I re-do them in A-Spec so I learn the course as well as B-Spec

Mine is called DumbAss. Because he rams into back of cars instead of overtaking them. He also drove the worst result i ever wich was a 4th place, in the ClubM championship, on a M5 with racing muffler. He made me so angry that i won the next race wich was the nurburgring with 27 seconds on 2nd place after one lap.

Mine is called "Man". That name came after a few times of me yelling "What the **** are you doing man?" He is a busy fella, doing all the same races as me after I am done with them (figured out that it was a good way to train him). But I think I did a too good job at training him, since he won't listen anymore...He spins out of corners when on "cruise" and always stays on the track at "push". He also likes to run a few laps on extremely red tires. As for the overtaking, he likes to push other cars into walls (but hey, they do that to him too!). And I am kinda mean, I never qualify for him and let him do all the work (he doesn't win all the time, obviously..). I just hope he won't quit the team when he gets a better offer...So far he is at 8600+ points and counting, and all his skills are near 90...

I nicknamed mine "Rolf" and I have no idea why.

Unlike what many of you seem to be experiencing, I have had little or no problem with Rolf. At first I coddled him a bit trying to coax him along with making sure I always gave him a superior car but lately, all I have to do is stick him in at 3 and overtake and let him go. When his car isn't quite up to snuff, I need to coax him/manage him along by bumping him up to 4 or 5 on some sections of various tracks (that he apparently isn't that familiar with) so he can garner and/or maintain the lead. Other than that, let him fly... he is cash in the bank for me.

I guess I am finding the b-spec portion of this game useful (read that: cash and time) and actually a bit of a challenge. When I first started with Rolf, I looked at it like it was me first starting and I can guarantee I stunk up the joint. Questioning why should it be different for the AI counterpart I simply worked on training him up the same way I would now go back and start over. Some the same as I first did it and some different. Apparently it is working.

Rolf doesn't drive my cars unless sharing a stint. I set him up in one built car to start with and made him earn the rest.

I really don't know if training the AI up is true-false-indifferent as it relates to this game. I do know that each time, it seems he gets just a little better. At somewhere around 2000, he pretty much quit constantly doing the bump/slowdown bump/slowdown bump/slowdown and finally pass thing. At somewhere around 3500 I noticed he started taking more aggressive passing lines. Shortly after I ran him through the roadster enduro, I noticed a huge improvement. That sort of thing.

My B-Spec driver is Jesse James, as I'm a big "Monster Garage" fan. I used him in Formula GT to get my Sauber C9. He only has about 4000 points, yet he's driving like a pro (or so it seems...).

My B-Spec driver is called Brad, first name that came into my head I guess, but it also sounds like 'Bad' which is what he is. He has about 7,000 B-Spec points and he still rear ends everyone before taking them. :yuck:

After driving into walls a few times at the 'ring, i've named him "WTF are you doin?" along with "WTF is wrong with you" ... i get the feeling he doesnt like driving for me.

Mine B-spec driver's name is Dale Dalrrell Waltrip Richard Petty Rusty Awesome Bill Ervin Gordon Earnhardt Smith Johnson Jr., not because I like NASCAR but because of the song I've heard on Bob & Tom radio show. He can have a long name cause I never talk about him to anybody.

Mine has about 4277 now & I took him on Arcade mode to the 'Ring' in the GTOne car & he was fine, sat him on 4 & overtake till I was in the lead then dropped him down to 2 & removed Overtake & he was fine

his name is Tony Wafflenuts. He is really good. Yea...good at wrecking half a million dollar cars, good at burning up race tires faster than my ex girlfriend, good at getting my hopes up that he will win a F1 race......
 but he has made me alot of money so I will keep him around.
I too talk to him alot during Survivor commercials, but my girlfriend is starting to get a little jealous of Tony.....I told her me and him only have a emplyee/employer realationship....
(also Tony is having a slight problem getting his machine ans battle points up...any ideas? his Skill pounts are 8000+ but the other points are well pretty low)

I currently have 9240 A-spec points and 7020 B-Spec points the driver has 87 machine points 70 course points and 79 battle points.....pretty top notch now 👍

My B-Spec driver's name is: Dick Spinner; He's a 🤬 as*, that just bumps the cars ahead 6+ times and then decides to make a pass at a corner, only to be bumped on the rear panel and spin out into the sand and sits there for 5+ seconds, before it slowly drives out of it :grumpy: With a Skyline GT-R V-spec N1(R34)'99, i (him) lost El Captain Enduro by 0.081, to the Shelby Series, because the 🤬 as* couldn't make any proper overtake
So, i then got into my RX7 Race Car and did the same race again and  oh well, you probably can guess the outcome of that----they were---dust in the wind !:boggled: So far, i'm @ 6100 B-spec points, Machine 71, Course 59, Battle 60. I can't wait too see how much better HE gets @ 7000 points!?

Bspec is approximately 30 seconds slower than me on Nurburing in the same car. Brakes too much for the corners. For some strange reason, Bspec wears out the tires 2-3 laps faster than me.

My B- spec driver wanted to marry my daughter. He's buried in the basement with the others. I had to start a new game.

I call mine "Bob".

He has his own cars, and use to drive endurance races while i`m at school or visiting friends. He usually wins, because his cars are way overpowered :D

Edit: i just noticed that he is also IMPREZA04`s bspec driver`s name brother.

I just call mine "buddy", and he's got enough skill to keep it clean and win races..*shrug* Sure, there'll be the occasional lap on red tired where he spins, and i'll be like "Buddy, what are you doing.." "calm down buddy.."..but for the most part..he's pretty good.

No need for name calling when you train him right :)

Ahh, pardon my ignorance, i never knew that people watched top gear outside of England :D
yes...im in the us and i love that show...iv downloaded about 15 gigs worth or top gear...
but my b-spec drivers name chages alot during a race...he will start out as dumb a** and move up to stupid fu**er

i have 2 drivers myself. First one is Bob, and second one is James. Together, we finished the 24hrs 'Ring last weekend and it was a great experience. Bob pushs a lot, and James comes in when Bob needs to go for a leak. When i'm racing they love to play tricks on me like putting Soft tires instead of S1s or S2s so i have to pit again. Silly guys.

Oh yeah, they don't really care about spec points or money, so they usually hug walls and do 360s in the sand.

WTF!!!! is his name (non abbreviated version), which is usually followed by "you idiot".
I actively work on him and has about 6800b-spec points. He still flies up and hits them in the rear, or tries to over take them on the corners to just spin out of control and crashes 🤬 :(

Not only England and Finland.Even in the country of...............
.............Jos Verstappen.............there`s Top Gear (the only fun program on tv about cars in Holland atm).Still laughing when I see the Chrysler Crossfire (with the back of a ****ting dog......).

My B-Spec driver is called Gino. That`s the name of one of my best friends that has a good talent, but no interest in racing. One time he drove one lap on my pc in one of those new driving sims. His first lap was gentle, but the second was shocking! He went faster than me!And I have a every day experiënce with that game, than he comes without any kind of experiënce and beats my best lap.............

My GT4 driver was the same story,so that`s why call him like that.He has 7600 points, and the skills are 81,75 and 74.I`m more of a person who wants others to get to the max in racing by helpng them. That`s why I use my driver allmost every time (yes, sounds wuzzy). Now,after some time he just drives smooth. No stupid things to watch for with him.He is a real racing driver in GT4 now.
