What car do YOU think is on the package cover? I'm speaking of the regular blue package, not the red one that comes in the bundle.

l think that all the australian boxes are red (correct me if l'm wrong)

Definitely right - I think all the PAL releases are red.

No - they were referring to the PAL box, which I think is a Miata tail-light taken from the left corner of the car (and then tilted).

That blue box is an odd one - the light could certainly be of an Evo VI, with the rear wing in the top of the shot, but the slight curve of the lens about half way down is odd l- although the weird cloud reflection suggests the picture may have been slightly distorted.

Nope, not a Lancer . Look closely. Notice how the spoiler of the pictured car is relatively small, making a small arc over the back of the car. The Lancer's spoiler (on the Evo VII) goes up and outwards, then goes across the back of the car. The only Lancer's that it may look like are the Evo IV and Evo VI T.M.E., but both of these raise too high off the back of the car for it to be the one pictured.

So........any more guesses?

Think your right on that one, look at this upside down and to me it's the front right RGT headlight.

This person was almost correct. The correct answer was the Acura CL Type-S. How do I know? I asked this same question at another board a while ago (before I came here) after having no clue on what the car on the cover was and people gave their inputs on what car they thought it was, ranging from the Celica, to the Lancer, to a RUF. Then someone pointed out to us that on page 40 in the driver's manual in blue print it says: "Thank you to American Honda Motor Co., Inc. for use of the Acura CL Type-S for the package front."

I was thinking: GT3 A-Spec.....Mazda name.....why would there be a CL on the cover? They shoulda put a rotor or the hood scoop from the RX-7 Infini.
