Make sure you stay in the 1:35 zone and do not cut the corkscrew. I noticed that my lap times are better if I don't cut the corkscrew. I used the mid turbo and also added 10 extra kg(1260) with the ballast max to the front. It seems to help with the cornering. The first two challenges are relatively easy.

I kept finishing about 2seconds behind the Audi in the Fiat challenge. The car has no guts going up hills at all.

With that one you need not to brake as much as possible. Keep momentum. Also I found useful playing with the gear ratios. You want on the long back straight to hit the red line in the 5th gear.

On the Subaru one, what starting lap time do you need to get to come near 1st?

The first lap should be in the 1:36 range. The following laps in the 1:35s. I was not able to get a lap under 1:35 with my settings and I don't feel like working hard on settings just to get under 1:35 since it pays only once anyway. The lead car does the race in 7:59.8.
