'The fish market' is a term coined from Socom 2 although i can't remember it it was a fish market or just random little market but it was always known as the fish market. Eventually you learn these names and locations when you play a map enough from hearing it on the comms. I will know the centre area of Crossroads instantly from my S2 experience and similarly with Desert Glory.
Which reminds me, on Desert Glory the hostage building on Socom 2, the 2 small window balconies on the top floor used to have a couple of pieces of wood on the railings between the two which you could climb on and then could get onto the roof of the building, does this still exist?
Now my only wish is that Fish Hook be included at some point as it was my favourite map, S2 vets will know this one as the seemingly heavy biased map to the defenders but being on a large hill the guys storming up are bound to be at a disadvantage and thats why I liked it. The Seals were the attackers who started on a beach and I think the whole level was just great to try and break the enemy defences or as it often was be the last man standing either alone or with my partner along side, claymores set up ready to put up one hell of a fight to the remaining mercs if they charged down.
I've missed Socom, can't wait to finally get back into the action.
