In Internet slang, a troll (play /ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is someone who posts inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion

In spite of many users who wish to see this thread stay on topic and have voiced as much, there seem to be those who are intent on dragging it back to meaningless and pointless arguing. Why would the OP even bother adding further info if there was more to be found. If it was my thread, I'd say thanks for nothing and lock it.

There is no respect whatsoever being shown to other users or the OP, by those who seem to have a pathological inability to shut the **** up and leave the keyboard alone in this thread.

Ask yourself this, if you were going to fake something in the tuning screen and doctored a genuine shot why would you remove something original from your source material? That makes no sense.

Beats me!!

I would love for sorg to provide more tuning screen shots and prove me wrong, really I would, then I will be convinced otherwise and stand corrected.

But has it is at the moment I don't think it's genuine and also think it's against the AUP to provide false and misleading information and the sites mods are apparently condoning it.

Sorg should just post so everyone could calm down for at least 10 minutes. Everything in here turns into some sort of argument with no end.

Tsk tsk..now it seems we are back to the "Mods promoting hacking" discussion..

sorg please make a new thread but this time post all updates in the original post 👍

Sorg, how did you get the RSS tires when they aren't in the list of choices? ( Not saying it's fake. Just wondering. )

Its hidden and it's in the files sorg hacked GT5 and discovered many hidden stuff

If you look at the screen shot you will see it's missing the car thumbnail from the top right that is on "EVERY" car's tuning screen in my garage.
I've seen this many times in the tuning menu where the thumbnail is missing, nothing new. I'm still convinced it's real.

Wow, this is great advice. I never knew that. Thanks for posting this 👍

Have Sorg's claims been proven false? Not that I'm aware.
They haven't been 'proven' true to you I suppose, but that doesn't make them false nor misleading. It's simply your opinion that the claims being made are not genuine.

Nothing additionally appears in tuning screen regardless how many hidden upgrades i've installed to car. The only difference you can notice is higher power, lighter weight, tires name (As on screenshot i've posted) and as a result higher PP. So, that's why i didn't pst more screenshots. The only place where u can change tires is screen before race, where you can change Traction/ASM/ABS etc... So, only there you can choose installed additional tire types.
As i've told before, believe me or not - it's up to you. I won't do special effort to prove myself.

Btw, forgot to answer question about my tire tests. So here is more info (i repeat everything, because it's hard to find in over-flooded topic):
Car: Lancer Evolution Racing Car (no any additional tunings besides tires)
Track: Cape Ring (full length)
Best time: 2.30.2 shown on Racing SuperSoft (C). On Racing SOft tires i could achieve only +0.6sec.
Well, i'm not really good driver, but tried at my best :)

Found 2 more types of X2010 5G. One type looks exactly the same as original X2010 5G. Couldn't find any difference. Another type of X2010 5G looks exactly as X2010 S.Vettel. Same livery, same parameters, but called X2010 5G. All of them have different IDs. Weird..
Also, it looks like i've missed somehow BMW Z4 '03 from premium to standard list.

There are additional Corvette C7 in GT5 (diffenet ID from original C7). Same livery with cover, but different name. It comes as Gran Turismo tuner and name XXXXXXX. There is some flag i've found. When you enter GT Life screen, you will get message something like "Congratulations, you have been chosen to test a new car 'XXXXXXX'. blah blah blah" And then you get ticket for this car in delivery truck. Car itself is not DLC (unlike original C7). All parameters are the same.

Yesterday i've tried to find evidence of any additional configuration of RouteX. Unfortunately, didn't find anything except that single config we all know.

Sorry if new findings are not so exciting as previous.. There are fewer and fewer chances to find something i've missed before.

There is parameter in save for money limit, but it doesn't work. Limit there is 2mil only. Probably it has been left from previous GT (GT5P?). I didn't find limit for cars (2000?), but found limit for items (7000). I think, it's not a good idea to increase these limits (except money) as they set to limit memory used for that and avoid performance decrease.

Now this is interesting! Especially all these different types of G5 X2010's. I didn't know about the Z4 being standard? I've never actually seen a standard Z4...

Are you also suggesting there is a local copy of the C7 Vette before we download it? It would make sense because I can see it in the dealership, but I haven't even downloaded the DLC. It was the same with the TC cars too!

It's the same with every DLC car. You can see them, but you can't purchase in game them till you have payed for the "keys". Why do you think every DLC for every car pack, single car, track, etc. is only 100kb?

Edit: Sorg can you put upgrades on race cars that couldn't be upgraded? Like put stage 3 engine tuning on the X2011? And can you post a pic of a car with all the extra tuning upgrades on it so we can see how much more power they can get? Not saying I don't beleive you I'm just curious.

What kind of power increases are we talking on a R34 For example?

I can't. Even some hidden upgrades cannot be installed to some cars. To force install not compatible upgrades, i need to analyze data of cars to figure out which byte offset correspond to which tuning. It's time consuming and not in my primary interest. There are many powerful cars in GT5 already to stop wishing about additional power increase. We have X2010/X2011 with insane power and speed. Although it's fun at beginning, i'm not excited from driving it. Too quick... I'm more excited with X2010 5G with lower power but more looking like car driving (unlike airplane as original X2010).

So the S.Vettel 5G has a lower power output than the original X2010 and bigger front/rear wings than the original?

These are still very good. Keep up the good work sorg 👍

Now that's an interesting find. 👍

The car may look identical, but in fact there's a major factor missing from the 5G. The fan. It has been removed, so, this car now produces a more realistic driving feel. And to put everything into perspective and make it feel more real, they also had to mess around with other values, such as the HP and torque. Makes perfect sense to me. Hence the reason why it has a different ID, because it's a different car.

Interesting...that car was not present in GT PSP, so it could have not been one of those that you transfer. Maybe the car was planned to be included in GT PSP?

1) Looks like we'll get to keep the covered C7, the normal C7, plus a "tuned" version by PD. Sweet.

2) A seasonal event will take place, where the top winners will get the chance to drive the car earlier.

Sorry if new findings are not so exciting as previous.. There are fewer and fewer chances to find something i've missed before.

Don't be sorry! These are great findings and I'm loving it! :sly:

Yes but he's saying there is another 5G with the same parameters, so one still with the fan and everything else.

You know what happens when you make assumptions....

You know what happens when you make assumptions....

Worlds about to end anyway, why not speculate everything  (Kidding of course, the world wont end. Not yet anyway)

But yea, lets not start speculating about the C7 'Vette... Just because there's code there, doesn't necessarily mean anything...

I see. I must have miss read then. That does sound interesting though.

Yeah, I do know. However, I like to call it a theory instead of assumptions. :D
I can very well be wrong. As far as we know, only one version of the C7 truly exists right now. So nothing is certain.

Well, i explored X2010 5G with S.Vettel livery more precisely. And found it as hybrid! With closer look, i found all aero parts are from X2010 5G (enlarged front wings and tail with bigger angles). But from technical characteristics it's original X2010 (1557BHP/1500rpm/979PP). I would say, it's X2010 Prototype because it has adjustable transmission unlike S.Vettel edition. So, It's hybrid from PD with livery from X2010 S.Vettel, X2010 5G wings and X2010 Prototype performance :)
But PD didn't tweak PP for this model as having higher ground force than original X2010.
So, most likely, in driving experience it will be exactly the same as original X2010 Prototype. Just slightly different appearance for photo mode ;)

Before GT5 was released they were showing point to point creator tracks, and we never got those in the final game. Are they still there? Not sure if you would be able to, but maybe explain some of the technical parts of the creator, like how it randomizes each track? That may not be possible, ok if not. :)

Oh, and course themes that are not available?
