Super duper awesome sounds were coming starting this year, finished before 2015.
 
Bloody hell... I feel abused. I was happy like a child at Christmas when I read it this morning.
Now it's back to reality again.

I liked this one because car sounds are very important and it's silly that so many cars sound basically the same or the tones are so fantastically fake that it takes away from the experience.

The problem I have is whenever I'm playing my 3 year old is asleep so I can't turn it up anyhow haha. Can Kaz build me a sound proofed racing room please?

True, but the fans will and are already deciding the fate of Gran Turismo. We have to fight with our wallets. It's a shame to even think that, but when compromises aren't made, the result is what we're seeing everyday on GTP: prolonged disappointment, among other things. The Real Driving Simulator has finally reached its goal. Good job! You created a solid driving simulator. Now how about trying to develop a good racing video game? That seems like a constructive, realistic suggestion. :crazy:

I suppose the appropriate conclusion in regard to this specific thread is: Knock, knock. Kaz, can you HEAR us now? ;)

The gameplay videos released a few weeks ago were pretty weak in the sound department, specially the Zonda R. Their sound engine is great but the samples are very generic.
