Yeppers, I need to tune the NSX for durability now, just setting consistent times is key without losing much grip on the tyres.

I often see you guys talking about drifting big 800-1000 bhp cars, and I decided I'd give it a go. Obviously they aren't setup to drift straight away, so can you guys give me some tips on what to do to the cars? Beast in particular because you're always creating awesome drift cars. Do i need ballast at the front? Rear? lots of camber? what do I do?

Btw, I'm using a 914bhp SLR Mclaren

Tyres don't wear in practise mode do they? How are you going to test it?

Buy a 6 speed close transmission, close ratios are useful because the acceleration turns into wheelspin. Comfort hards are the way to go and I suggest tuning your LSD to pretty much a locked diff.

As for suspension settings try and experiment for yourself, some people would my tuning for drift cars is crazy whilst others would say perfect.

Arcade mode is your friend.

Locked diff? Is that all the way up or all the way down? I would think you mean all the way down but I don't know.

I forgot about arcade mode ahaha

well i dont use any ballast at all in my viper. i just run it on Comfort hards all round, as low as it can go and run 3.5 camber on the front and 2.5 on the back. swaybars are set to 7 all round and the dumper is also set to 7 all round. i get the fully custom gear box and set the top speed anywhere from 240-350 depending on how long the main straight is. but thats for a ps3 controller.. not sure if that would work on a steering wheel. oh and i use these diff setting.
50,45,10.

Christ, 50 initial torque on the diff for your viper? Isn't that a bit much, I only use 15 max on my XKR and that thing only puts out about 750hp.

I thought you told me to nearly max it but your doing nearly the oposite? Or have I got it the wrong way round...

You've got it right, but I run less initial torque with cars that have about 500hp or more, because more intial torque gives more wheelspin.

Then again not everyone else runs a 6 speed close.

I've just come here to tell you guys that ridigity improvement is now allowed, because both me and midjet don't trust everyone to not use it.

LOL i tried it before and it didn't make my car any faster just smoother and more consistent.

Well smoother will make your tyres last longer i guess.

Because remember, you need to do atleast 1 pitstop during the race.

sure did. guy next door should have some nice pics of that car. he supplies the v8's with the race fuel so he goes to all of the rounds.

Yes the Fire Ball and If you don't have enough people for NSX championship I will run selecteted rounds

I got a Few solutions for High HP cars:

1. Soften the springs very soft in the Front and Double the spring rate in the rear
2.Lock the diff for stability

the accident was insane. car stalled on the start line and one of the back runners hit him right up the ass at around 150k's and massive fire ball.

So there are 2 races today? Cause I think I'm watching the second one.
