^^ That is why i have a DFP & not a DFGT. I bought the DFP for GT4 and used it for practically 3 years straight, loving every moment. Unfortunately my GT4 disc broke so the wheel wet into safe keeping (under my bed). Then i got a PS3 & GT5P and i welded up my own wheel stand, and cranked out the DFp. The whole time i was using it for prologue i was considering buying a DFGT, but found out that they removed my favourite feature of the DFP. At any time, with the flick of three buttons i can turn it from a 900* wheel to a 200* wheel. My next big money grabber will undoubtedly be a G25/7 or Thrustmaster, as i see no point getting a wheel without a H shifter.

You may think this is ignorant & that the DFGT is leaps & bounds above a DFP but i tried a DFGT when looking at them and the difference wasn't that noticeable. You may be able to fiddle with the RA menu, but sitting a DS3 next to my wheel has the same affect anyway.You may also think that the 900-200* switch feature isn't that great, but it taught me how to drift in GT5 and it is very handy if a car im racing online with has snap oversteer that causes a spin with the usual 900*. Just change the roatation and watch yourself climb the positions.

I got the G27 but i have to have my DS3 set to controller 2 while the wheel is plugged in.

When I said free DLC I didn't mean GT5 DLC. We wont get that, because that'd be a loss for polyphony. It's the same for all the people hoping they'll get free maps for Black Ops, there is no way it's gonna happen.

Unless they hand out free PSN money so everyone gets what they want. Save them from putting a bundle together worth such and such for such and such users not to use it.

$20 free PSN money sound good to me. As long as they don't take it away while it sits and waits for some PS3 DLC
 
well ive just bee burning up the track in the NSX. ive got a very nice setup for this thing i think its got the perfect balance.
 
havent run nurb gp yet. im having a rest as my bad knee is killing me from a hole day of driving on the wheel LOL

buy it. it makes the car smoother and u will gain a few tenths per lap... and use less of ur tires.
 
i think ill mention that in the last 24 hrs ive rocked up 800k's on the NSX LOL and also had to pay for 2 engine rebuilds and body refreshers... this is going to be an expensive championship LOL
 
You dont need to do all those engine rebuilds. Ive only ever rebiult 1 engine out of every GT series lol
 
well i tell ya i rebuilt the engine and refreshed the body and i gained 3 seconds on GVS. anyway i wont be doing much more testing this week untill the psn is up. thats when it really counts and i do plan on hosting my lounge for a setup testing session. where u can see how much ur setup uses the tires while online and so on. should be interesting to see who pits first :P lol
 
LOL well being 30hp down and the body so loose it was making the car understeer and snap over steer... paying the 100k to fix up the car sure made it worth it.

Thing is.. the first time I got "ONE Infraction" It was actually 10 all in the one go, the next was a warning and recently it was another "You have recieved AN infraction" which was actually another 10. So yeah.. and I've been here since like Jan 2008.
 
Because I really don't have time to do that stuff with exams coming up in a month. Plus I can use a tune from that forum.
