go to community click on remote races and then click the ? and R.T.F.M lol...

or do as advised previously ;)

It is accessed via community tab in gt-life and then you need to put ps3 into server mode to remotely access via gran-turismo.com

Note it only needs to be in server most when YOU want to race (via gran-turismo.com i'e at work from a phone etc etc), if your driver's are shared from the driver screen they will be available to anyone running races remotely..I'e myself

you do not need anyone physically online,prior to being able to start the race, you will need to add your driver by clicking on your name in the lineup screen... & then you can use what ever friends drivers are available adding them by clicking the + below your name...it really is pretty simple ;)

also note you can do this remotely via gran-turismo.com with your ps3 in remote race / server standby mode... OR you can just run the remote race's directly via the interface on your ps3

If anyone is hosting a remote race, Could they please add my driver, and will do the same vice versa. ;)

I would start doing remote racing but I don't think it'll help the power bill by leaving the ps3 on all day, I also think the races should be longer like an endurance with more B-Spec drivers.
 
@Stav, is it a slim or a fat?

Slim shouln't be a prob / or too heavy on power..Mine's been off 3 times since Nov 25th last year all due to power outages and there has been no significant power usage increase......To a point I am actually trying to YLOD the thing as a stress test...over the hotter part of summer there were a few day's where the was a mildly disturbing smell....kinda like melting solder (hehe) but it went away...at points it has been hot enough to fry an egg on, so far hasn't missed a beat, GT has only ever crashed once (this was due to an update being applied i think it was v1.03...)

I think it was actually my ****** old pc haha

fat, I wouldn't leave mine on longer than about 12hr's a day they just get too hot, and when the fan is running full tilt they still don't cool properly...

To this day I fear running the enduro's on the fat...the slim is..flawless

Get those driver's online boy's and up to par, i'll run as many races remotely as I can and the more drivers that become available the less I will use per person...I'e atm using 6 x dav 5-6x cam 2-3 Touge, & one of Geti01's would be good to have one r two of everyone's drivers in the race ;) 💡
 
Ive put my driver online...i think. Not too sure I done it properly lol
 
When are we running on the team drift comp?

Btw can someone check to see if my bob is online? Does my ps3 need to be on for him to get chosen to do a race?
 
u guys will be happy to no I HAVE INTERNET BACK :D

and its nice and fast. only thing thats got me confused is that it comes up as NAT 3 on the connection test. yet i d/l the update in 5 mins flat.

Mines a fatty 40gb, which is apparently more prone to the YLOD and that I definitely don't want, I'm starting to think of running B-Spec whilst doing homework but the parents won't allow for it lol. I need my own personal setup which can hopefully come soon.

@ Monstar If you want to host remote raves yes your ps3 needs to be in remote race / server mode

otherwise just share any drivers you can and if they are shared then anyone hosting a race can add your drivers in
