Spa Sound Glitch

[Slash]

Was just messing around online and had a weird glitch. When I skid, or slide or do a burnout etc, instead of the wheel scream/whine, I get the sound you hear when you slide across gravel.

I changed my room, and the problem went away.

Perhaps lag on the host's end...

Though, I must ask, were you the host?

[Slash]

No, I was not the host.

[sumbrownkid]

Did you end up sliding onto the grass?

If not, perhaps the host's PS3 thought you did, and ended up giving you that sound.

Or it could be another glitch that you've stumbled upon.

A lot of glitches to be found...

[Slash]

Nope, I did not slide into the grass. I was drifting and the like.

Then just another odd glitch discovered by you.

It makes this game interesting in the glitches you find.

Though some of them tend to be ball breakers (pit glitch).

I get this randomly across all offline races, so far on Monza and the Ring, especially when I keep restarting race via the Start button without going back to the Race Menu.

I hit the chicane at random spots, and that sound will loop. Drowning out the engine.

Edit : doesn't match your problem exactly.
