This thread is for everything to do with the glitch. You don't need another one. Merged.OK, there is already a thread which explains this glitch briefly here:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=4987116&posted=1#post4987116
That thread is for complaining about it, or discussing the glitch as an entity, whether you agree with it, disagree with it and so on.
This thread is for explaining how to do it, and what rewards you get for doing so.
i do 4.0 laps in a stock GT-R. And 2.3 sec laps if i do burnouts in it. and its totaly standard(the one from recomended list).
It would actually be the other way around. More people will find out and glitch the hell out of this thing, until PD's online team decide to do something about it. Judging by this thread, people won't get sick of the credits and xp. They'll want more and more.
Spending so much time griding and glitching, how do you people have time to race? Still for the life of me I can't understand what you spend the money on.
I have 11mil, somewhere in the mid 300s on car count and I haven't done any grinding. I really don't understand.
I guess it could depend on what kind of cars you're buying. I'm buying nothing but race cars right now and many of them cost more than 1,000,000 credits, apart from the JGTC cars. So of course, I need millions and millions of credits to do it. The 11 mil you have or even 20 mil certainly isn't enough to get the majority of them.
before the glitch it looked exactly the same just without the 61 glitch servers.
What will you do when you have all the race cars you want? Serious question. I just don't understand the mentality, I clearly play differently than you.
Will you start collecting the rest of the race cars? Start collecting something else? Drive/race your cars for enjoyment? Why not drive your cars for enjoyment now, and slowly earn the money up, you can't race them all at once anyway.
Legitimately curious, not flaming. 👍
explanation
That makes NO sense, apart from in a pure literal sense.
The point is filtering OUT these silly SSR7 servers, if every list of one hundred rooms is half filled with SSR7 glitch servers we have to spend twice as much time searching for a room and go through twice as many lists.
How is that the same?
Because you want to level up quickly I have to spend more of my time searching. How is that not:
a) a direct affect on me and my gameplay?
b) hypocritical? You are after all using this glitch to save YOU time at a cost of MY time.
To be fair though, players can't take full responsibility. Human nature says people will always try to take advantage of any given loop hole (though you could have kept it in your own private lounges) but PD shouldn't have missed the possibility of this glitch. Missing the 'hole' itself is excusable but missing the placement of the stage markers enabling this quick 'lap' is daft.
Equally they or Sony should have a facility to report bugs so the resolution of issues is quicker. I can however see why they don't as judging by this forum most people would use the channel as an opportunity to critique rather than report.
Anyway, whatever, I have the new seasonals and GT Academy opened in the EU today so I can avoid online with no remorse until this is patched.
I jumped from lvl 32 to 36 in about 3 hours
BECAUSE it is just impossible to make private lobbies with lots of players for most people since no one would join if they are not invited. of all my 100 friends, about 30 play gt, about 5 are online when i play, but even if all 5 of them would join, ss7 is about making $$$ and you need more than 5 for excellent results. it is just impossible to change that fact, so you just have to accept it.
we dont need to hide away for your pleasure since what we do is racing 200 laps, driver against driver, to find out who the fastest is and make the best money gt5 has to offer. we drive races, this is what you have to understand. you dont get the big cash and xp if you finish last! what we do is part of what gt5 is and it is 100% legit. you dont like it? it really is your problem not mine.
This is no different than the fact that I have to go through dozens of NASCAR lobbies and DRIFT CHAMPIONSHIP lobbies to find one that works for me...
Everything anyone does online has some affect on others... just being in a room fills a spot and might be the last spot which means someone else can't get in.
You have to recognize the diference between having an effect on your experience and trying to effect your experience. It's a lesson anyone who has lived in a city has had to learn with their neighbors.
I would agree if there were the same proportions but as illustrated earlier in the thread the SSR7 rooms now dominate all other rooms.
You mentioned living in a city, anyone who has ever lived in close proximity with many neighbours will know that compromise is the key to harmonious living.
Extending this metaphor, if a new family (the SSR7 glitch) moved into the neighbourhood and immediately started using 60%+ of the communal resources I don't think many people would turn the other cheek.
Anyway, I'm about done with the discussion, it's quite obvious the majority position is held by the glitchers so it's more or less a waste of my time. Like I said it doesn't bother me all that much in the greater scheme of things.
I can wait until the glitch is fixed, plenty of things to do, people to see and places to go in the meantime.
yeah, I'm just quaking in my boots for fear of PD's backlash![]()

Blizzard and Bungie kicked some virtual butt with regards to glitchers. If you want something directly related to racing, Turn 10 banned accounts that glitched for credits.
Obviously XboxLive and Battle.net is a bit different than PSN, but I suspect they could still do things you wouldn't enjoy.
