Anyway, we've got all legacy circuits except Autumn Ring. Really can't see us getting the Clubman and Test Course tracks when we have Tokyo Expwy and Route X.

There is still "Tokyo Expressway - North" and "Tokyo Expressway - West" yet to be filled as names. Though I have feeling the former SSR5 might be "Tokyo Expressway - GP".

That was from PlayStation Spain. However, there is a scape flavor text for Albert Park in GT Sport, if that's a hint...

I really like Motegi in GT4, and I think would be perfect to use in custom races, so I would love to see coming back.

But what I really want to see is some original track, Red Rock Valley, Taihiti, El Capitan, Grindewald...

Anyways, I'm happy with the two new tracks for Spec III

Sooooooo, we can scratch CGV and Yas Marina off the list. Can we believe some of the speculations?

I brought up Albert Park in another thread. PD have added classic Formula One cars from nearly every decade in GT7. Since the 1950s Albert Park been used off and on as an F1 circuit. It’s taken over duties as the Australian GP from when Adelaide last hosted the Grand Prix in ‘95(?). The last two circuits added to GT7 are indeed current F1 circuit locations on the F1 calendar.

The Albert Park Scapes locations are before 2018. We know this by the Etihad Stadium signage. That was changed to Marvel Studios on September 1,2018. That year’s F1 race was March 25(hey, my oldest son’s birthday!), 2018.
Since it’s a high use public road during the rest of the year, it’d be interesting to know when they shot the photos and if they did scan the circuit, when?

Etihad Stadium had the naming rights from 2009-2018. We saw Mount Panorama being scanned in beginning of March 2012.

If PD were attending the Australian GP that year, they might have had access to scan Albert Park before the event on March 18, 2012. A crew could have flown(about an hour) or more likely driven(less than 10 hours) with their equipment to Bathurst. Then, made it back to Albert Park to scan the circuit. It takes a while to build the circuit, but easy to access before construction and after it’s dismantled. I took some photos when I lived there.

I mean, PD could scan the layout at any time, but with the timing of the rumours and the actual Scape timing possibilities of when they took the photos, seems like a lot of trouble to be there and not take advantage of scanning the layout.

Creating this topic to concentrate information about leaks and general questions about the next circuits that may appear in GT7. Considering the supposed evidence and informations, it is possible to infer and list some possibilities.

Firstly, we have dated information for the Red Rock Valley, Tokyo R246, Albert Park, Okayama and Gilles Villeneuve circuits; according to some dataminers who predicted Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta, and the return of Daytona. These three tracks were confirmed in GT7. Albert Park Circuit appeared in scapes leaks and, interestingly, its layout appeared as a wall picture in a promotional video featuring Ordones and Coque Lopez. And supposedly Okayama was named "Tanaka" (the circuit's former name) in the leaked data.

Secondly, there is the trace of Apricot Hill in the GT7 launch announcements. So far we have no other information about this track.

Thirdly, Yas Marina can be considered? In August 2022, PD held a lecture at CEDEC on how to virtually build a racing circuit. The fact that they use this circuit as an example alongside Suzuka is very suggestive, when they could have used another real circuit that is already in the game's roster.

Fourth, we have the Hungaroring. It is said that the real circuit had already partially appeared in a clip from the 2020 Gran Turismo Sport championships. Also, the circuit's facilities were used for filming the film Gran Turismo. Is it possible to say that PD-Sony, in addition to renting the circuit, also took the opportunity to digitize the circuit?

Fifth, last year, YouTuber @Tidgney heard rumors from important people at the World Tour that Zolder would be a future addition to GT7.

Sixth, user @wbhumphries predicted before the release of Road Atlanta that the track would appear on the GT7, also Sebring. He states this justifying in a source. According to him, an important person from Daytona Speedway management confirmed that Kaz had visited Road Atlanta and Sebring. Road Atlanta was confirmed a few months later. Sebring is owned by the same owner as Daytona and Road Atlanta.

Seventh, can we say Sugo? I don't know if we can consider it as indicative. Anyway, the fact is, a few days ago, Kaz expressly mentioned on Twitter that Sportsland SUGO was the location that served as the setting for the cover photography of the GT1 game. SUGO is also mentioned in the Neoclassic race in the game.

So, we have the possible circuits for the future of the franchise.

• Okayama
• Apricot Hill
• Yas Marina
• Hungaroring
• Zolder
• Sebring

Gran Turismo 7 Car & Track List Prediction

Just clocked this in the recently released Official PlayStation magazine. Apparently Deep Forest and Grand Valley are confirmed in addition to Trial Mountain? I’m a bit dubious given all three haven’t been featured since GT6. @Famine - Any thoughts?

Not too sure about Spa's 24h layout, but maybe that was overlooked in the code at the time as it's pretty much identical to normal Spa.

That being the case, all new circuits from the start of GT7 (including new launch tracks) up until now, were found among these lists.

Interesting to also note that Circuit Gilles Villeneuve appeared in 2 places rather than 1 (Scapes, & Time of Day), perhaps lending it more credibility.

As always though, there is no certainty until something is officially added into the game and made playable. Don't set concrete expectations from stuff like this. That's how people get disappointed.
Think of them more as a "maybe" than a "definite", as certain files could just be dormant.

Those being:

• Grand Canyon (although listed as "PS2" so likely an outdated file. It has since featured in a "GT Memories" post by the official GT Twitter account, using GT4-era footage.
• Cape Ring
• Mid-Field Raceway
• Zell am See (An ice racing track in Austria, home of the F.A.T. Ice Race.)

Some of these files may be dormant leftovers from previous game code, but they are there. I believe Grand Valley, Road Atlanta & Eiger Nordwand were all thought to be dormant files at one point, but they all showed up eventually. I think of these as reminders to Polyphony's staff of tracks they want to revisit in the future, if they aren't the specific files in active development.

Another one that had recently come back up again is the Shanghai International Circuit, which was used in a Yangwang U9 promotional video. With Polyphony getting closer with the Chinese car industry, a logical next step would be to add a Chinese circuit, and it's been on Kaz's radar for a long time.

Of the ones listed in the original post of this thread, I wasn't aware of Okayama, Sebring or Sportsland SUGO. Though I know it doesn't confirm any are going to be added, it's awesome to hear that some of my favourite tracks are in the rumour mill.
Sebring I always thought would be a great technical showcase for the DualSense controller's haptics, due to the famous concrete slabs & bumps.
Okayama & SUGO, along with Motegi which we heard was scanned, would complete the roster of premier Japanese circuits visited by Super Formula & Super GT.

On the Motegi part, sadly they are officially going to be covering the damaged oval with grass now. Honda did some demonstration runs as a final send-off, where a pair of older Super GT cars were able to run flat-out on it, making me question just how damaged it really was.
Either way, my hope is that Polyphony can do a "digital restoration" of the Motegi oval to preserve it in a sense, since it isn't getting a real-world restoration.

I honestly thought when forza was releasing in fall, GT7 would bring Autumn Ring and Autumn Ring mini since Forza was showing an autumn track(s). Pretty sure I saw tracks with leaves on it or on the side.

It was a pipe dream. We got snow, and rain on some tracks but no autumn leaves. Not to mention it was a super fun track to race on, karts too which they lack in GT7.

Was all speculation on my part. As well as hopes and dreams. Which is usually the case for this game haha. It’s very good but always missing something. I think that says something about the game at least.

The March updates (30/2023, 28/2024, 27/2025, 12/2026) are strangely close together at the beginning of the month. I think it might be possible to get a 5th anniversary update for GT7 on 04/03/2027 and maybe some news about GT8. The State of Play anniversary is also on February 2nd, 2022!
