I like the variety of this pack. There's something for everyone. I'm not very likely to get the race cars, but I will definitely get all the road cars.

I can't wait to listen to the Aventador. If it's anything like the Murcielago SV than it will sound absolutely amazing!

Is there anyway for forza 4 to get a huayra?

When EAs exclusive license runs out in 2012 I think it is.

57 Chevy is my all-time favorite car, so I'll get that one for sure! So glad they are putting that in the game.

Well, we might get the SSC Tuatara and maybe the Lamborghini Bluaaaargh, too :D

Maybe in the "Unspeakable Pack" or something.

261bhp in a car that weighs 2,862lb/1,300 kg isn't what I'd call a 'tank' of any sort. It's not lacking in power either, for the job it does it's pretty quick! They look awesome too:

I dont know where you pulled your figures from:

Dumping four-wheel drive also helps keep the weight down; the R has a 1333kg kerb weight for the manual car and 1353kg for the DSG-equipped car — considerably less than the old Golf R32, or indeed the new Ford Focus RS. Combine those figures with the power output and the R turns in a 0-62mph time of 6.4 sec, faster than the R32.

Hasn't car makers these days ever heard of Agility? You can dump a turbo into any 4 banger to make more power but its never going to be a fun, nimble, track focussed car - ever.

Hatchbacks today are as heavy as ever, want to make a proper hot version of any car, make it light, make it powerful, make it handle. They aren't faster than last generation hot hatches because they get heavier with more power - when is that cycle going to end?

VW seem to love making their cars bulky and heavy, who cares if its fast in a straight line?

Renault seem to have that pretty well covered at the moment.

You lucky ......., i am still waitng for the game to arrive, have season pass, a DLC on the market and i can not do 🤬. Why, oh why :grumpy:

I think on balance the pack is fantastic, the video impressed me and cant wait for the track focused Ferrari and the belair is just fun to have in a game, real iconic car that one. So yeah very pleased.

Hmm, What country does VW belong too?

What country has highways with no speed limit?

Hmmm:idea:

Only certain sections of the Autobahn are un-restricted :p

@barry; I'm not sure what you mean by 'Where did you get your figures from?'. You quoted the same figures yourself in the next sentence!

Sorry Moglet should have been more clear theres a slight difference of 33kg which is a lot if we are talking about racing the car !

Sure, it's a classic in it's own right, but seems like just another gimmick car with no performance value.
With that said, I am surprised on the interest in the Typhoon- a truck??? And a pretty low quality truck at that - had a S10 back in the day. But I understand the Typhoon was fairly quick for a truck. To each their own.
If performance and speed are so critical, why drive street-legal cars at all? Do you only pick R-class cars?

Forza isn't a racing game. If it was, the career mode, car selection, track selection, and features list would all be quite different. What we have is a driving game with racing in it. No offense to you two, but I enjoy driving for the sake of driving, in just about anything. Classes C-F aren't in the game just for show.

Here we go again...

I wish for once Turn10 wouldn't throw aside their automotive history book the moment they get the game out on shelves.

Manufacturers want their newest stuff in games I guess. It's just business ruining everyone's fun like usual.

Either way this looks like a good pack, I'm not regretting my season pass (yet).

Making my 57 Chevy into a drag car in one of the classes maybe buy even a couple of them, how awesome !!!

It's really one of those damned either way things.

People will always complain that they are adding too many new cars instead of older ones and vise versa. It's the same thing as cars from different countries.

Well, that was quick! Still no Veloster, but I'm more or less happy with this pack, and definitely grabbing my Season Pass today. My thoughts:

2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 - Knowing this was coming doesn't dampen the excitement. All the glowing reviews have me excited.

2012 Aston Martin Virage - Eh, I love Astons, but this is just a DB9 with 20 more bhp, and some slight cosmetic work. Alright.

2011 #2 Audi Sport Team Joest R15++ TDI - I don't drive many race cars, especially R1's, but this is a very welcome addition.

2011 Audi RS3 Sportback - Was wondering why we don't have an A3 of any sort! This definitely works, and should make an incredibly fast hatch.

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air - Cruiser material? Unlikely track-rod? I'll take both.

2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 - If this inclusion means I can swap the engine into the Challenger for a 392 replica, I'm happy. If not... well, would rather have the newer Challenger.

2011 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione F458 Italia - I'm not sure how different this is from the Challenge car I have already, but more GT2's are always fun.

2013 Ford Focus ST - Like I've said elsewhere, please let me swap the normal NA bumpers in, I don't like the baleen whale face! Otherwise... hooray, new Focus!

1992 GMC Typhoon - I personally don't see the point in having this and the Syclone, but can surely appreciate them regardless. One or the other would do for me, though.

2011 Volkswagen Scirocco R - Can't I already essentially make this? Still, I do very much like the Scirocco, and the R looks fantastic. One thing I noticed in-game about the GTI and Golf R though; the weights seem to be swapped, since there's no way the R is the lighter car.

It has extra aero bits.

My theory at least is that the R will be the free car that contains all the data for the rest of the pack.

There are three options here:

1. You purchase only the cars you want. Which I believe is non-inclusive of persons owning the Season Pass.

2. You purchase the Season Pass and save more than you would purchasing each DLC by itself on a monthly basis, up until April of 2012.

3. You purchase the entire pack.

What's there to complain or even grunt about?

Just the idea of paying more per car basis really. When I first heard about PD's idea for GT charging 50cents-$1 and tracks at $1-3 I saw how much a game like that would end up costing. I'm fan with the car pack as it gives me 10 new cars for much cheaper than buying each individual car. I've bought every DLC but 2 in all the Forza games so far. To each his own, but I'm sure the per car charge will be for those who don't want every car in the pack

The discerning opinions always get me when a new pack comes around. It is like another member said, " One's rubbish is another man's gold".

Great pack, but I knew that already, that's why I got the season pack...I always end up buying them all so, I don't have to be running around looking for points when a new pack comes, rather convenient
