I've seen both now, and I have to say that i preferred Spider-man. I thought that it was uncomplicated, and that it was just trying to be entertaining, whereas Star Wars Ep2 was trying to be this all-things-to-all-people epic.
I was left rather cold by Ep2, although I do concede that the people moving and talking around me were something of a distraction, and that so much happens it's a definite multi-see film.
But, having seen both movies once, I would say that I had a more enjoyable time in Spider-man.
