when you buy spoilers for a car, do some offer more downforce than others or are they just different looking?

One thing I noticed is that you can replace the rear wing of the NSX LM Race Car, even though it has its own (big) wing already. The new one adds a massive 80 downforce in the rear.

On most cars, you'll typically get +0 fixed front downforce, with +5 ~ +20 adjustable rear downforce. It's practically worthless on a large number of cars, namely FFs. A small part of me dies whenever I see an FF online with a GT Auto wing. Even the relatively twitchy VW New Beetle can be reigned in without a wing.

Sometimes, the wing is great for aesthetics, even though the car doesn't need any extra rear downforce -- like the R390 GT1 road car I wanted to have resemble the GT4 Black Beauty R390.

Ninjaedit: GT4 refresher... the BTR looks awesome with a GT Auto wing. Pure. Unadulterated. Awesome.

IRL they say a taller wing with two slats is the more aerodynamic.

In GT Life they just look different but all do the same thing ... Which I think is an oversight but hey ...

Would be nice if front aero was adjustable on more (if not all) cars.. Would be nice if it was available on all cars ffs..

I actually prefer the wings that look somewhat normal as opposed to those that clearly are an aftermarket tune.
