Hotlap on Suzuka

Hi,new and old members.
This time we will visit the famous track Suzuka with some powerfull cars.
In online racing you can spot them rarely so this is the opportunity to finally meet them in person.

The Super Car Class

You can use all cars listed below.

- Chevrolet Corvette Z06 '06
- Dodge Viper GTS '02
- Dodge Viper SR10 Coupe ‘06
- Lexus IS F '07
- Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG '02
- Aston Martin DB9 Coupe ‘06

Please,post your best clean laptime and the car you used in this thread and I will keep a running leaderboard.
For this race only professional times will count.

Race Details:
  • Mode: Arcade > Time Trial
  • Track: Suzuka
  • Make: Super Car Class
  • physics: Professional
  • Driving Aids: Any
  • Transmission: Any
  • Tyre Type: S2
Standard Clean OLR Rules:
  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
  • rumble/ripple strips and concrete are part of the track
  • no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • no hybrids
  • no cheating of any kind
  • nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
  • save your best lap replay

But if you read sjaak's post. It says

That's why there are no Ferraris and Ford GT's on the list :sly:

There is a reason why the tuscan is never seen because its impossible to drive on the stock settings. Give it more then 5 degrees of wheel and it spins.

Ergh, I need a wheel badly, especially for this very wild rear-ended car... could've possibly squeezed out another second on it, but without a wheel I was relying on TCS/ASM/ABS too heavily to even get it there.
 
Hey guys.. I like the way this format makes you take cars you wouldnt normally drive.. I hadnt driven the 'vette before this.. nice car!

Hmm, I might have to have a go at this with the Jaguar. I don't normally do time trials very often, but I'm willing to have a crack.

I took the Lexus around suzuka. Love driving this car and the instant shift is very handy too:sly: Didn't quite manage to hit the apex at the hairpin and 130R became a 'fast in-slow out' :lol:

I would like to participate, however, I have two times, one for the Corvette, and one for the Viper GTS, but I don't have the replays. They're not anything you would question, no ridiculous times, and they were clean, I've just been racing Suzuka in those two cars on that track with those settings SPECIFICALLY for the last week (which is rather sad...) and will probably be continuing to.

God knows I'll be doing more today, and hopefully can beat my times and save the replays (hopefully top 10 and you can download it yourself!!), but I just want to know that, should I not, can I still submit them?

By the way, you should find me on the Pro physics under the car model scoreboard, just so you can verify.
 
Good point joe:tup: I didn't save my lap either but it made it into the top 10 so will be viewable to everyone.

Is there a way to save the replay of one specific lap (fastest) if you've done a run of say 10 laps?

so,all these times i did using onboard view,pro phys,all aids off,except the abs!!its on 1 beceause my dfp pedals are completely worn out and dont give enough feedback to balance the brakes....(next week i hope to buy the new df-gt wheel!!)

Assists off, default 1 ABS (No quick tune available, and not screwing with RA)
Clean lap, some usual rumble riding, but no corners cut
Professional Physics (as the rules clearly state)
2'22.454" puts me in 16th car make...

Horrible, considering I've taken myself to near the point of a breakdown trying to better it over the course of a week, and that's the best I can do... I'll try again later, see if I can better it and I'll edit this post, but for now, I'm just going to go to the Viper GTS... I just can't stand it :(

Ah, thank you sjaak sir! I didn't know all cars were being grouped together, I thought it may end up a car make process!

Has been noted! Also, I'm assuming if we manage to better our times, we can still submit the better of the scores?
