I'm thinking about getting a 2004 SRT4, but I wanted to know how much(if any of you have one) paid and what options did it include? Also is it true that it has no power rear windows? 👍

I don't think the rear windows are power, but since they only go down about halfway anyway, is that a big deal? You can reach both cranks from the driver's seat.

Bop on over to the SRT forum at www.neons.org and see what you can turn up.

I went with my friend to buy his. His is a 2004, no sunroof, Viper seats. He paid $20,100, I believe, as he got it for $200 over invoice. Other dealerships wanted to add in fees and other bs.

Yes the rear windows are crank.

Rear power windows aren't an option (Safety reasons only because for example: If your car sinks underwater the power windows might not work, therefore if you go the the backseats you just roll them down). My brother didn't get sunroof (I guess it kinda makes it look like a sleeper, since the 2004 has 15 extra horsepower than the 2003 and the 2003 doesn't come with a sunroof). He also didn't get the side-airbags (Together they cost $1,000). He got the kicker system with his though, which sounds nice for stock. Just so you know, the break in is at 300 miles, not 3000 (Read the manual). That's about it, if you have any quesiton you can IM me on AIM at speedkrazy602.

Is that the reason they give prospective buyers? Can't they just admit when the manufacturer's trying to cut costs? If your car's going into the water, you can't be expected to break the window, but instead to unbuckle the seatbelt, put the seat down, swim to the back, and put down the window? It may just be the stupidest thing ever.

Who needs power windows anyway? They just add dead weight, and you can get good exercise rolling down the windows at the drive-through at McDonald's.

Who needs seats? Rural milkmen do just fine.

They should have manual windows on all four doors, power windows are worthless.

edit: er, I guess that's already been said.

I got a black one. :D I hate the rims and the shifter. Gonna replace them ASAP when I get the $$$. I'll get you some pictures when I get my camera fixed. Probably over the weekend. 👍

18'' racing rims dont know which ones yet, probably some blackish colored ones. probably a shift knob from walmart

gotta fill that gap between the tire and the fender somehow lol.. they are 17'' stock and since I fit 18s on my Mazda6 that had 16'' before I should have no problem. Just haven't found any that I like yet :( ... got any good rim sites?

I never realized import wheels were so expensive before compared to wheels for domestics.:odd:

My friend is probably going to buy the Centerline Impulses. Very light wheel.

I think a set of Rays Gram Light rims might look good on an SRT-4. I'm picturing the seven-spoke design (57S), in bronze, maybe, on a black car. Gunmetal always looks good, too. They're competitively priced, too, around 325 a piece for 18s. Check them out here. That's just what a quick google search turned up. Also check driftspeed.com for other GL designs.

On the shift knob front, don't buy one of those crappy Wal-Mart ones. They are all ricey and poorly designed and made. I really like Razo's knobs (http://www.carmate.co.jp/english/). They're well designed, made of good materials, and have a real quality feel to them.

that first link doesn't work. I like RAZO knobs too but they can get pricey for just a shift knob. as for the rims, I was kinda lookin for something under $1k with tires included. I'll look up that rim and see what I can find. Thanks. 👍
