Am I the only one irritated that this numb nuts has nothing better to do than complain that his favorite car isn't in the game? Seriously, dude, shut up, get off your lazy ass and grow a pair.

Wow. If you've nothing worthwhile to contribute how about you just don't contribute.

Forgot to mention: Reported.

This is abusive. You've been reported.

I'll bet that if people knew that SSC is a completely separate, unrelated (and private) company than Shelby American (Ford) than the SSC wouldnt get nearly as much hate as it does in this thread. Please educate yourselve before hating.
Thanks

I already know this. I actually love Shelby, and I still hate the SSC. :)

The SS is faster than the Aero
Aero- 256.18 MPH
Veyron SS- 267.86 MPH

You do know their is something called gear ratios.

A truck has 1000HP or more yet is it faster than a Mclaren F1?, no.

Well, I hope car companies dont use GT5 to help them tune their gear ratios. So unrealistic

You don't need a game to see how fast your car will go.

All you need are the max engine speed, gear ratios, diff ratio and tire/wheel size.

And with the SSC Aero, if one added a diff ratio smaller than what it has you can increase the top speed.

Oh no, this is just debating.
If you want arguing, go see the creation Vs. Evolution thread. XD

What on earth did I just read?

The Veyron will forever remain a far more historic car than the SSC, it took us to and beyond 400kph and 1000hp

I'd love my Yugo to be in GT5 too, but I'm not the one starting yet another "THIS MUST BE IN GT, HI PD PLEASE^^" thread.

No, you know no one will join your thread :sly:. Also as far as being unknown, the company they Veyron hails from wasn't all that well known by the general public until they built that stupid fastest car. The true Heritage of Bugatti is what they did back in the 30s. I guess the EB110 counts.

I'm pretty sure Volkswagen is very well known. They are the ones who poured millions of dollars (and engineers) into producing the Veyron. Volkswagen owns Bugatti. So yes it takes the majesticness out of the Veyron knowing its made by massive company with unlimited money.

Ah, the automotive fanboy wars - does it get any better?
*gets popcorn*

How is it not a Diablo Kit car? It runs on a Diablo replica chassis and it looks like a Diablo.

My point with the difference between the Aero and Veyron is simply down to the Aero being a kit car with a bad drag co-efficient, offset by a massively powerful engine specifically designed to go faster than the Veyron. The Veyron is a luxury grand tourer designed to last, that just happens to be the fastest car on the road (or atleast, the SS version is). The Aero is not a good car, it just brute forces its way into speed and does nothing else good, its not a good track car and its not a useable day to day car.

Bold is incorrect.
You're talking about McLaren F1 and not Veyron. Veyron is a car made for 1 purpose - beat McLaren F1.
McLaren F1 was never built for speed, it was built for perfection - and it just happen to be the world's fastest car...for 14 years.
Don't speak nonsense, please. Both Veyron and SSC Aero are souless cars built for just speed.

You're not telling me anything new, and you might want to go back and see what we're arguing. It's gets old when people see cars like the Gumpert, the Aero, Ariel and others and still droll over the Veyron, then claim that those cars aren't good due to lack of heritage? Really makes no sense seeing as Bugatti needed to be bought by VW to become something again, but in reality aren't any where near as prestigeous as they were back in the 30s. That's the point when you want to argue heritage.

Am I the only one frustrated by the fact that the Shelby Super Cars Ultimate Aero is faster than a Veyron, yet is not on GT5?

The Ultimate Aero isn't in the game because it's 1) not Japanese, 2) doesn't have 346 different versions to pad the car list, and 3) is a car from the last half decade. While the game does include non-Japanese cars, cars that don't have 300+ variants or rebadges of the same thing, and some cars from recent years, these all make up a minority in a game crowded with Japanese cars, older cars (older than half a decade), and a hundred versions of the same friggin' Miata or Skyline. If the Ultimate Aero had been a 10-year-old variant of a Subaru Impreza, it would almost certainly appear in the game.

Honestly, who would want the Ultimate Aero when they could have a heap of '89 Fairlady Zs and '91 RX-7s?

I wish the veyron would be a premium and look more realistic, the inside is just black with 3 windows and half a steering wheel.

I really hope PD never bother upgrading the model to Premium because it's just not worth it. Better to spend those resources developing new models than updating old overrated ones.

The biggest disappointment in GT5 for me was getting in the Veyron and taking it for I drive, and discovering I couldn't use interior view.

That and 80% of the other cars.

The SSC is just a big ol MEH.

The men at SSC just wait for Bugatti to put something out thats fast and they put something out thats faster. just to say that it is. really uninteresting car. same with the new Hennessey Venom.

my opinion, of course.

No I agree with you. They don't have any purpose beyond that.

Really hope you're not comparing the two. One is an original car, the other is from some failed tuner in Texas that got his hands on a lotus and extended the back to dump a motor in it. Hennessey is a joke and most people that know of him on this forum will tell you that.

Then what is Bugatti? They just sat around and waited for the SSC to take the title only to release a new Veyron just so they could say they're faster.

At least the SSC is a sports car.

This.

It seems that Skyline contradicted themselves on that one.

There are a lot of cars that aren't in GT5. We don't need a thread for every single one of them.
