Standard Cars need the option to add front splitters

Agreed! I added a front splitter and extensions to my GT-R '07, so why is the front downforce so low (and unadjustable). It's set at '2' which is clearly not enough.

Agreed also. I really cant understand why it cant be done as you can put the rear spoiler on most so surely they could have added this too.

All this, nose vane extensions and side aero-panels too. Frankly, since we can paint standards, I'd like to see Race Mod for all the Standards one day.

I'm hoping the fact that we can't get the wheels from GT4 and paint them is because PD is improving them and will be including them someday as DLC. Or perhaps even that the Standards will gradually be replaced by Premium models. GT5 is going to be improved over the next year or so, and I'm hopeful that this will be one of the areas looked at.

PD had a choice with this.
GT3 all over again or GT3 and then some. I prefered it the way they did it. GT6 will probably be all premium. Any new DLC will be premium.

Well it's not just a Standard car issue, the GT-R '07 for example is premium, and when I add front splitter and extensions, there's still no front downforce benefit?

With FM4 announcing to be released one year away from now, If Kaz doesn't want to lose grounds to Turn10, (if they haven't already, but all the better for us playas) PD better kick a few notches up and patches GT5 to keep us happy.

It looks to me that FM and GT will both get 50/50 market share from here on.

I think you're underestimating the effect of canards. Think about it, in my Audi R10 the front downforce can be set from 20-60ish (IIRC) and pretty much the whole of it's nose is aiding the downforce. Contrast this with two pieces of carbon fibre stuck on the side of the bumpers with an area no greater than a sheet of A4 paper and it seems about right :)

It's unadjustable because you can't move the canards or splitter either.
