It would probably be pretty good

It would definitely make the franchise money having a guy like QT making the film, and for that I would be thankful. I'd be very curious to see what he would do with the franchise. I mean, is QT actually a fan of the franchise itself or would this just be a job for him? I've never really heard about him being a Trek fan.

Any bets for Samuel L. Jackson being cast as an admiral?

Thats what I was wondering, has he been a massive fan all this time and no one ever knew?!

Maybe he just wants to bring his expertise to something new. Abrams was not a fan of ST at all when he took on the job.

It would certainly give the franchise a boost and get many more eye balls looking in it's direction than ever before.
