I wonder when they will get to Episode 1,2&3 related stuff.
Not supposed to be happening in this game.
I think, given the nature of the large scale assualts in Star Wars this style of FPS works well. They always appeared to be kind of hectic and all over the place in the movies. I am really curious to see how the Battle on Endor's moon is going to be. I hope it matches the movie. Flying through the woods on a speeder would be amazing.I played the beta, and it was exactly as I expected.
The game is not bad, in fact is great, gameplay and graphics. But I'll stay away from this one, is no longer a Battlefront game, is just a Battlefield game with a Star Wars skin, which is not bad, but I got tired of the BF series after BF4.
I know it's only beta, but right now I'm not so convinced about this game. I really don't see how it's much different than the way BF4 plays but with smaller maps and stacked odds (talking about the Walker map). It's cool and exciting at times but I'm just not sold yet... unless I get to teabag Darth Vader again
And for reasons unknown to science, this game runs like complete 🤬 for me but only on the menus. Once I'm in a match I can run everything on high and be fine, but loading a menu will damn near fry my CPU it seems... just makes my whole computer run extremely bad for the minute or two I'm on a menu. All drivers are up to date (then again, AMD graphics...) but it's just really weird.
I hope they don't rebalance the walker assault, it is supposed to be stacked odds. It's supposed the be easier for the Empire. My real issue with the game is spawns. Someone in the AT AT or a tie fighter can rack up kills just blasting away at the trenches. But, everything is beta ATM. I'll reserve serious critique for the full version
That is one issue I cant argue with, that the spawn system is terrible. Maybe make an area in the base like you said, or even do as heros and generals does, and give like 3 seconds of invisibility so you can spawn then move out without getting blasted repeatedly.Yeah the spawns are the biggest issue by far, and it's so easy to fix. All they need to do is make the point past the current uplinks out of bounds to the Imperials until the game moves to the next set of uplinks. Pushing up behind the Rebel spawns and allowing them to get spawn killed is ridiculous even for a beta. If they release the game in this state it will be highly unacceptable.
According to some of the comments on the official FB-page, the devs are already working on re-balancing the spawn points.Yeah the spawns are the biggest issue by far, and it's so easy to fix.
