I'm aware OP understood the backlash (we talked a little in DMs as well) and this thread is unnecessarily dragging on, but it would be a valuable lesson for anyone reading this to pinpoint some of the straight-up misinformation that LLM GenAIs feel dangerously confident in

So here are some that I nitpicked:

It technically does, but the AI response here implies this is what Gran Turismo is meant to narrowly represent

Ever heard of the Koenigsegg CCGT? It was a pure GT1 racing machine.

Misinfo #1. It never got to race (if you exclude Masters Endurance Legends, which I've just searched up). AI replied that to the quote "what racing legend did Koenigsegg make?" Can't really consider something as a 'legend' if it never gave results so it's safe to say it thought it raced

But even beyond that, Gran Turismo is about 'The Real Driving Simulator' and 'Precision Engineering'.

Misinfo #2. Again, AI implies this is what Gran Turismo is meant to narrowly represent. LLM connects the dot 'Gran Turismo' with a training field it's been sparsely fed data on that's unfortunately redundant and recurring by itself

To give example on this it sees racing video game and goes "Awesome! 😎 What is your favorite race in the game? That one where we race the 917 against Razor's M3 GTR on Trial Mountain would be my choice!"

Look at the countless threads on every GT forum. Thousands are asking for Koenigsegg and modern GT3 cars.

Thousands ask for modern GT3 cars. Unsure of Koenigsegg specifically. But I'm 100% sure this forum site (even though I'm a newcomer) absolutely doesn't have "uncountless" quantity of threads that beg and scream about it

What’s actually 'embarrassing' is defending a car list full of SUVs in a racing simulator

This LLM absolutely has no populated data on the franchise of Gran Turismo. This specifically made me question whether OP used an old model like GPT-4

A racing simulator shouldn't be a choice between 'nostalgic memes' and 'modern icons'—it should strive to provide both.

This is the most confusing statement so far. Straight up contradictory to what it said earlier on.

And to top it all off, it thought we drove the Amuse S2000 GT1 in Master License S-10. This was on DMs.

Don't get this post wrong. It's meant to explain how reliance on AI chatbots, specifically LLM GenAI's without web search, very often results in straight up nonsense, and that it mostly doesn't know what it absolutely think it does on.

We're aware English is not your first language. Nothing wrong with that. There's DeepL which is a superb translation service you can benefit from. But realize that having a chatbot speak on your behalf is not a good idea at all.
