Exactly. A Demio is a Demio, and a Jesko is a Jesko. They serve different purposes in a racing game. My point remains: a 'Real Driving Simulator' in 2026 should not be missing one side of that spectrum entirely while doubling down on the other.
If we agree they aren't substitutes, then we should agree that adding more 'grocery getters' doesn't fix the lack of modern high-performance icons. It’s time for the game to reflect the current state of the automotive world, not just its own history.
How about this concept... I (me, myself) like the vintage racers, the family cars, the Gr. B/4/3/2/1 racecars, the safety cars, I like all of them and want more. But to just limit my new additions to "pinnacles of engineering " is very narrow minded.
I will not add more comments.

Just buy a PC and download random mods for ac
Modding is great, but it’s not a replacement for official, high-fidelity implementation in a major title. I care about the progress of Gran Turismo specifically, which is why I’m vocal about its direction. Anyway, I think enough has been said on the matter for now. Let's see what the next patch brings.

Post request here...

i doubt Koenigsegg would allow his car to be in the game and get continually beat by the grandpa cell phone cars... i am honestly not interested in high end cars that i have to go to a crowded cars and coffee to even catch a glimpse of then fear for my life ill get hit by a mustang.

NOt one to want to push anyone out of the gran turismo family but there are plenty of games that have a Koenigsegg

i may be thinking wrong guy but aren't there only like a handful of Koenigsegg's (models and actual cars produced) and none of them ever complete a race they been entered into?

Edit: okay hasn't entered a professionally sanctioned race series due to homologation rules.

I’m sorry for causing such a huge discussion here. As a new user, I wasn't aware of the specific rules or that there is a dedicated place for car requests. I didn't mean to clutter the thread or ignore the guidelines.
Could someone please point me to the official car wishlist or suggestions section? I’d like to post my ideas there from now on to keep this thread on track. Thanks for the patience!😓

I'm more curious why you're using AI for replies than why it took you five pages to understand the issue
English is not my first language, so I use tools to make sure my messages are clear and respectful, especially after the misunderstanding earlier. I'm just trying to follow the rules now and move my suggestions to the right place. Can we please just get back to the cars?😓

Sorry bye guys 😓👋

Ah :) I understand, thanks for clarifying

That makes sense! Since I'm still learning about all these different cars, I'm curious: What is your personal favorite car to drive in Gran Turismo 7? I'd love to get some recommendations on what I should try out next! :)

Ah well this is difficult to answer :scared: Considering you have only so much to do with road cars in singleplayer. But ones that I particularly enjoy is tuners like the Amuse S2000 GT1.

That being said there are other threads for topics like this. I think it's best to discuss this elsewhere :)

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely check out the Amuse S2000! And thanks for the heads up about keeping the thread on topic – I'm still getting used to how things work here. I'll look for the right threads for these discussions next time. See you around

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm
BMW Z4
Ferrari 512 BB
Maserati Merak SS
Opel VGT
Peugeot 2008
Porsche Carrera GTS
Toyota MR2 GT-S

All are great handling, fun to drive cars imo.

While im not crazy about electric hypercars i love to be able to push cars I have acctually driven. My mom had a Golf in the mid eighties and now I have a blast driving my childhood car like a maniac on Tokyo!
Yeah i just think there is a difference between a sort of chuckable Golf that at it's core is kind of fun, and a Honda CRV.

Thanks for the list! I haven't tried most of these yet, so this is really helpful. I’ve heard great things about the Giulia GTAm and the Toyota MR2. I’ll definitely add them to my garage and give them a spin to see how they handle. Appreciate the recommendations

For a game that calls itself 'The Real Driving Simulator', this is a joke. I want to drive the pinnacle of automotive engineering, not my grocery getter.
And they gave us ....
Polyphony keeps giving us 'smartphones on wheels' (Xiaomi)
Now, I'm not a fan of electric cars for performance use, but the electrics are at the forefront of auto tech, as evidenced by the electric assist in F1. I hear they also hate them.
and boring old economy cars ('Grandpa-cars' like old Opels).
This is a far argument, because as a Gen Xer, I have also noticed that the emphasis is on cars from that era rather than newer cars, as if Kaz is trying to make the perfect Gran Turismo 1. Now, of course, I'm ok with that because of my age. Also because fewer new cars are interesting.

As for the desire to have the latest street hypercar, I hate the hyper cars. They're all numbers and no fun, so I don't care.

Using an AI is not genuine. We're here to talk with you, not ChatGPT

I just got a hold of Kaz, which Koenigsegg you wanna see added in the next update?
I'm sure once they know it's for Kaz they'll break out one of their CC prototypes from the museum and let him take it for a few spins around the track. Nothing is too important for customer and community satisfaction.

At OP

If you are going to use AI, why didnt you first ask AI about why Your favorite car brand is not in your favorite game ?

And talking about grand pa cars
I would like granpa cars like these

Or those

Yea more grocery getters ...

And coffee break in the parking lot to knock over some cones with my grocery carts...

Hell yea

To the OP.

You know what I would love in GT7, a grocery getting mission in a small Kei car, first one to to the supermarket car park wins, do ya FWD/RWD doughnuts and leave, Alas but maybe thats another game entirely. :sly:
