I don't like it when waiters shove your plate infront of you, they should know the ettiquete that is to stand behind the person and gently slide the plate infront of them from the right.

Thank you, I appreciate your asking.Originally posted by boombexus
Well Gil. I just asked one of the waiters here and he said that it's a lack of attention.
Usually he does appologize for it when he has realized that he's done that.
He say's that sometimes they are just too busy to really notice.

And though they are fairly well-behaved, we don't like inflicting them on people.
Hummm i always wanted to know what mexican food is like from another country. Other then U.S. or even better Texas witch borders most of mexico.Originally posted by vat_man
We go to a Mexican place in east Sydney called 'Cafe Pacifico' which, particularly on Friday is VERY raucous (you get a lot of work parties there) - but the place is very casual and upbeat and it's part of the fun. Everytime we go there we end up getting smashed on frozen marghiritas (however you spell them). I love that restaurant - always good for a mood lift.

I like the Cracker Barrel (a home-cookin') place/tourist attraction, when we all go out, as I can feed the family well in a place with "atmosphere" for under $100. We are trying to teach the guys how to carry themselves in restaurants. And this way, provides affordable lessons.

Now what i hate about working in my fathers resturant is when im trying to take a tables order and there DAMN CELL PHONE RINGS. They most of the time lift up a finger as to tell me to hold on. Then they ANSWER IT! Im like WTF?? Hello! i do have other tables! Same thing goes when im eating out and other people are just talking away on there cell phones.![]()

By any chance was that at a Montanas?Originally posted by Saleen Man
I happen to like that, unless it's my birthday.Earlier this year, we were out for dinner, and it was my brothers birthday, so my parents told the staff.😈
After our meal(which I liked, at least not during our meal), the staff comes up, asks my brother to stand up, plop this huge viking helmet on him(the kind with the horns), and sing happy birthday.
I thought it was funny.
