We spent millions of dollars developing a pen that could write in space. Do you know what the Russians did?

I've had a couple of those pen's. They're called "the fisher space pen". About £15, ish, come in a neat little black plastic case.

They're about the size of a bic, slide in to themselves to about half size and look like silver suppositeries. They'll write through oil, upside down, in a vacum, 30 degrees below zero and are virtually indestructible.

I've lost both of them.... DOH!

yeah i have one of those...still have it, but havent used it much.
