Btw, doing 1040kg min and 550hp max in arcade would make these cars availible (but not limited to these cars)...
Ford GT, Oreca Viper, C5-R, NSX-R LM, 350Z LM, RX7 LM, McLaren F1 GTR, Zonda LM, Nissan GT-R LM, RX8 LM... And many others of course.
(probably a bunch of the JGTC rides 👍 )

Oh yeah this is brilliant I forget about using arcade mode to make all the touring cars have similiar power as in simulation mode as soon as you upgrade the jgtc with minium upgrades power jumsp to around 800hp.

I really wanna do this race rivals.

Well I've got good news and bad news...

Bad news:
bhawk776, I have removed the RGT/M3 race and so the records have been wiped.
I'm sorry about that, you had a great lap (even though I would have preffered giving you credit for the SSR tire lap). 👍

Good news:
I've replaced some of the older rejects with more worthy races.
Specifically, a questionable street car combo and an awesome race car combo. Both races are arcade races and the race cars are set to be on *any tires.

The street cars are 1997 models. The Supra RZ .vs. the Skyline GT-R (R33) '97.
These cars are on S3 sports tires and run at a specific quick tune.

The race cars are at specific tuning so that the pwr are nearly identical (533hp/1008kg .vs. 532hp/1008kg).
Those numbers are achieved with a fully quick tuned BMW and a +4%hp/-10%kg NSX.

Hope you all enjoy those.

Hey, don't worry about making up anything specificly for me. I was just throwing an idea out there that I thought may be interesting if you were looking for any. If there's anything I want to run, I can always hop in on my own and submit to the GTRP database.👍 Well I have to try me a Skyline and BMW race car now so I'll be busy for a while anyway.

Well it looks like I've screwed up again.

Even though the stats on the M3/NSX race are dead-on, the lap times are not.

The NSX lacks so much stability that getting anything close to the M3's time is a task and that's with only one lap in the M3 to go by.
Chances are that the M3 could continue to drop time while the NSX tops out its potential.

If any of you come up with info to the contrary just let me know.
However, in the mean time I am searching for a replacement to the NSX.

Specifically there are a few I have in mind for testing.
RX7 and RX8 LM, 350Z LM and GT-R LM.

Let me know what you all have found and what you think of the proposition.
Are there any other cars to put in this list of competitors with the BMW?

Man if there was ever a time to want a RUF race car....!!!

Just wanted to come back and mention a few things...
1) I am trying not to use JGTC cars against this BMW

2) The weights matching up was important to me, however...
The BMW matched weight with the 350Z LM but it seems the 350 is capable of much better times even with the same weight and 5hp less- torque maybe?

3) The RX8 seems to be well matched. Not too much torque, close to the same weight and power. After more testing I will know for sure but in the mean time I will just have to test and find out.

Ok, made some decisions...
Looks like the RX8 is the best contender.
Very similar in handling and power output.
I can't find an accurate torque rating but I don't think it is far off of the BMW's.

Any help in experimentation is appreciated.

Audi a4 dtm vs m3gtr race car

I'm gonna have to do some major testing now.

I'm looking for anything that can compete evenly with the M3 GTR Race Car.

Doing a lap in that will be first priority (a full clean lap that is).

From there I will test as many of the GT cars as possible.
At the moment it doesn't look good though. I've been testing with the RX8 and at first I thought the Mazda carried an advantage- boy was I wrong!

For now, I am keeping the M3 GTR Race car rivalry open to any challenger.

Once we find a proper challenger I will make an official rival for the M3 on the ring.

Just remember that if any of you experiment, the goal is to find similar weight when the car is at -10% kg.
Also find something that can run a similar horsepower.
Good luck with any help you all can contribute.

Also, regarding the street cars... According to Iceman the Supra is faster.
I can see that being very possible but doing good old Skyline / Ring laps is a good old time so expect one for the Skyline coming from me soon.

Now to go find a challenger for the amazing M3 GTR Race Car.

5'55.015 in the Audi A4 Touring car at +19/-7

Is that close enough for you guys?

The BMW was was totally clean, but the Audi lap had an off or two. Both laps can be improved by a few seconds, and running against the BMW ghost in the Audi, the two are so evenly matched I have to turn off the ghost to keep it from distracting me.
