Just want to double check on the cars. Do they have to be FR, some of the cars on the list are MR
 
CLK-LM is allowed and FR and MR are allowed

640PP @ Cape Ring

Most of these race cars are around that PP.

Well, I've done a little practice this morning @ the Cape. In 40-45 minutes, I think I can squeeze in 1 or 2 laps. This race is going to be wild!
 
I think 20 laps would be good. Tire wear is quick though haven't made to many long runs but this track eats tires. I'll be practicing tonight if anyone wants to run laps. 9-9:30 est.

I'm sorry for the confusion. The eligible cars are listed in LeMans GT Sports cars, GT1, and LeMans Fantasy cars. Also the cars I listed above are eligible to be used for this race.

That's seems correct to me. I'm going with anything that has (LM) behind it or a GT1 car.
 
I am going to try a few laps if anyone wants to join.

Never mind. I am quitting out of frustration driving the gt40 test car.

So, did you guys decided on any cars yet? I tested the Zonda LM Race Car: http://mygranturismo.net/car_sheet.php?id=788 The Zonda is nice but intimidating with all that torque. I don't think I can keep straight under the stress of a real race. I have two other cars I'd like to test but with a shorter race week I may not have the time. I got the RX7 LM and the Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II. The Ford maybe the issue as the Zonda though: Too much torque for me.

I'm gonna try out the fairlady z, the viper and the spec II gt. I wish I had a C5R to test out. I'm with Xonant on the Zonda LM, that sucker looks really intimidating. I might give it a spin but the Oreca viper seems the best handling so far.
 
I tried the S2000 (too slow), Gillet Vertigo (is a handful), RX-7 is good, really liked the Spec II and the Fairlady Z. Tonight I'm gonna try the R390, the Citroen and the C5-R.

I plan on taking a short break, maybe one or two weeks and then starting up season 2. In the meantime I would love to hear suggestions from everybody. I'm thinking of maybe deciding the ten tracks ahead of time and then letting people vote on themes that would fit the track. IDK, i feel like the way we are doing it now works okay but could use a little refining.

I'll go ahead and match your suggestion up against the vintage cars right now.

Oh and as for cars i am a big fan of the oreca vipers. there are more LM cars out there I just don't know what they are. I also had trouble looking them up online. The PP limit will be 640 BTW.

Sounds good about Season 2. We can run the luxury sedans next season too. As for season 2, I think it would be good to have the first 3 races decided (track and cars) so new people know what they will be racing, and then open it up like we are doing now.

Nice pictures. Takes a lot of time to take and post pictures (and especially other drivers), so I thank you for doing that.
 
I think I made a mistake to get the Engine Upgrade 3 on all my cars. Now I have to add weight and lower power to meet the pp.

I like the 350Z (or the Fairlady?) a lot--great sound and handles better than the GT Spec II test car or the RX7 that I tried.

I am going to try the cars again tonight. Need to grind B spec to get some credits to buy another GT spec II test car.
 
I will try to make this tonight, but may not make it in time. My Fairlady is running about 5 seconds off pace anyway.
 
hope you can make it Snoopy, ryce_bouy indicated that he may not make it as well...by the way what is the pace? I have been so busy that I have had hardly anytime to practice at all.
