Great racing Red and Mike. I had to earn the wins last night. Very stressful.
 
Congrats on the double wins RR. Nice racing Mike. That little Mazda is a bat out of hell in a straight line. I was giving it all i could. Just wasn't enough to get the job done. Great racing!

Thanks, JT. That really was fun. I still have not done that much intense bumper to bumper racing. I'm much more accustomed to cruising around in the back by myself. Sorry for any bumps, but I'm trying to be more aggressive.


Really nice, RR! Nothing you do, can surprise me any more. Dethroning the king is not going to be easy!

Perfect racing and you have really become a far better racer.

Congrats RR on the double. Now we both need to sit at the bar and have some double Whiskey drinks.

Motegi is not my thing. I tried to stay out of the way 1st race 2nd lap spin I had.
 
I had three fun races last night. In the first race I had a great cat and mouse battle with Red....until the glitches started and I hit him twice in the brake zones, then my throttle stuck and I ended up in the wall. The second race I had a great battle with JT until I stuck my head up my a$$ and tried to pass at the end of the back stretch taking JT out. Then at the end of race 2 I caught up to BK and had a nice battle with him. Luckily this time I didn't screw up and crash anyone out. All in all, I had fun in between the mistakes. It turns out, I like Motegi after all!

Congrats to Roadrash for taking both wins. Once again showing your nerves of steel. Suzuka is not my strongest track, but I have to find a track where the BMW can break the Camaro stronghold.

That's a practice I've started. This helps racers see how close we're getting.
 
Sooo, I'm almost done taking pics and have been writing notes on the race since I got home around 5:30ish PT and I get up for ONE SECOND to help my wife open the door and my 1 year old daughter Melody happens to DELETE all my notes.

GAAAAHHHH!!!

I always "lock" the computer when I walk away. I have a 3 year old and 4 cats.....

Got good news from the MRI. No surgery needed! Just plain old tennis elbow-partially torn tendons. So I'll be back...not sure when.

Great news! Now rest that thing up. Try leaving GT5 alone for a week or 2 or completely reduce the FFB if you need a quick fix.

Did anyone run laps at Suzuka yet? I'm not strong there and I'm curious how far off pace I'll be.

I ran a few yesterday afternoon. My best was 2:07.7. And yes the track was back to normal with tire squeal.

I ran some today. You're right the squeal was back. Unfortunately for me I'm 2 seconds off your time. Thanks for the info.

Weren't we running 1:57's in your lounge Wed night? I'm sure i'll be there with Envy. Suzuka is a bad track for the BMW and Alfa.

The GTA Tuned GTR Black Edition is on share for anyone who doesn't it have for the new seasonal. Stock w/oil change only.

Also, another fun Toscano track to download. Been using it for cruising and hot laps. I really like it. Got it from ANNIHILATOR90 who's got some good tracks to share in the course maker forum.

Seems like I remember running 2:07's-09's before the season.

Hey guys just got my schedule for next week and we have the option of running the race on thursday night. Im putting it up for vote.

Just ran some laps. It's 2:07's but i feel there is more time. So possibly mid to low 06's for me. I also think i may have been wrong about the Alfa at Suzie. Maybe she will be competitive. She comes on strong in the 2nd half of the track.

I can't wait to see what those Mazda's run. I feel they have the potential to lay down some nice lap times.

I ran mid 2:09's.... I'll probably get to 2:09 flat. Oh well , no pressure to get on the podium this week.
