Good racing tonight guys ( minus a certain incident). Nice battle there RoadRash. I'm ready to get out of this Alfa and in a car that handles! Nice to grab a win though. Was stressful as all get out!

Well after viewing the replay of the last lap incident in race one I think there should be some kind of ruling on it. Yes JT was in full braking lock but....DJ and another steward should review and give a ruling. As far as the out come it is what it is, but I feel contact should have been avoided.

You nearing 100% or getting close to being back for some racing? How do you feel about the Mazda Roadster Racecar (DLC) in cockpit view without ABS? Sounds like a fun little series to screw around with?

It's been a rough week. Had a steroid shot last Friday and haven't felt like driving at all. Ran a few in the new Lambo seasonal for a test but I didn't last long. Looks like a longer recovery than I want. It's all down hill after 50!

I was driving in a straight line hot. I'm not quite sure how I should have attempted to avoid you as I steered off track onto the full green over the candy cane hoping you would high low, I was fully expecting a off track penalty against me even if a wreck didn't take place ( why I drove to the finish line instead of waiting). My fault.

If I was able to slow enough to race you properly at the last chicane ( please watch from spoon turn on, my full intent was a clean race even after the spoon ) you would have won. Reason being you would have had the inside left line for the last turn out of the chicane. With that in mind I feel I should be stripped of 1st place points and they go to you.

I set myself up for disaster by slowing a bit before the fast left sweeper and lining up behind you. My pre-tap of the brakes still didn't slow me down enough for the chicane.

I think hosting races is sometimes a huge distraction for me. I knew I was too hot as soon as I noticed the brake marker too late. Instantly I start calculating where I can go to try and squeak by, how much off track to use and corner cutting to hit and the resulting points penalties that will be incurred, as well as thinking of the uncomfortable discussions that will arise. I'm not saying I am hosting this series, but my mindset as a result of past series hosted is as such. The rules are in my head a little more then others. I at times feel I have to be the upstanding citizen, but the fact is I make mistakes. Rules are rules. And I would have busted someone for improper racing in this same instance.

So why not the high low? I thought you saw me coming in a bad way?
 
I was concentrating on getting through the corner as best I could because I thought you were right behind me and it was going to be a drag race to the finish. I didn't look in my mirror after I started my turn in. I'm not max at you I know mistakes happen.

I fully expected a high low knowing it would have resulted in a very nice chuckle on your part followed by the, "oh, JT, what did you do?" Instead I just got the, "oh, JT".

I'm gonna be late on the ruling guys. I was involved in a a rear end collision this morning, (I was rear ended) and now I barely got enough time to get ready for work and relax.

I'm okay, aside from a bad headache, my Honda got the worst of it

Couldn't have been me, he didn't spin around.

I actually raced a lot lighter than usual last night. I held it well behind red and mike.

Yeah well, red busted a 2:06.5 at a casual practice. I followed him in blue up to 2nd sector all the time but turned way behind at lap end. No way I could make that up last sector with his straight speed. I realized I had to push. I also realized I was being a chicken in that double downhill thing after the esses. I figured just drive it like an LMP and that was it. It made me stay in blue. I also hit that last fast left sweeper faster by just not looking at the speedo. Just hit it off sight.

I wasn't going to chime in on this issue. But will put in my 2 cents worth. I don't feel that changing the order of the race is the correct move. Accidents happen in racing and they are what they are. Playing the coulda woulda shoulda game could go many different ways. Mike and i were right there at the final chicane with you guys. You guys go 2 wide and Mike and I could have made something of it with our full head of stem out of the chicane. Now i am not saying one of us would have won that race. But you never really know what would have happened if the race had ended cleanly.

With a much better damage model, Mike would have won that race while us 3 just tried to get the cars to limp towards the finish line. Maybe GT6 will be better.

PS: Still ticked off over the pit stop. Sorry i vented during the race about it. I should have muted my mic!

That's too bad DJ. Hope the other guy's got insurance. Make damned sure you're ok physically. My wife got rear ended years ago, said her back hurt a little but didn't mention it to anyone. She's had back issues ever since. This was 20 years ago.

I was racing hard and crammed my car inside, a different scenario. I like the fact that you chimed in red. It takes all of our input to make things right for everyone.

The pit did you dirty. I thought for sure I would go out late behind you.

You should go get checked out. Your body will start to hurt tonight for sure.
 
If anyone is available tonight I'd like to run some laps for the upcoming series to get an idea of times to figure race length. You'll need the 69 Camaro RM full engine upgrade and super charger with race medium tires. I should be on around 9:30. We'll run some laps and do a few quick sprints.

Well, i am not saying points shouldn't be adjusted :) I just don't think the finishing order should be messed with. But i feel adjusting points would be the right thing to do. If the winning order was adjusted, Mike would get my vote for the win.

Is this a suggestion or a request to DJ for a series requirement? I for one would not be running full down force at spa.
