Race 1 @ Suzuka
JT pulls some speed out of his ass and ends up with pole position! Here's the field racing to turn 1
Well, most everybody is racing to turn 1. I rear end the hell out of Brett at race start and end up way behind everybody else. Sorry Brett.
JT still in the lead as the racers go through the hairpin
-L2 Envy drops a tire onto the dirt at the Degner Curve and ends up sideways. Scorpion pounces on his position.
-L2 xR0ADRASHx gets a run on BermudaKID on turn 15 but BK successfully defends his position. Nice driving BK
-L3 Oops spoke to soon...BermudaKID seems to miss his braking point heading into Turn 1 and pushes wide out of the track. BK seems to get ahold of the car and get back on track but ends up sideways and at a standstill in the grass. BK drops multiple positions.
-L3 Scorpion and Envy have a great battle going on but then Scorpion goes off track at the Degner curve which slows him enough for Envy to get by
-L3 redrobin347 wins the drag race against ALLInWitJT on the back straight for the lead!
-L5 GTP_mike46an2 blasts past JT down the back straight and they both end up flying off track on turn 15! Mike gets the better of it though and comes out ahead of JT only to be passed by JT a short while later at the Casion Triangle. What a great fight!
-L6 Pit issues taint a great race by redrobin. May be time to look for new crew members...
-L9 JT makes a great pass on RR at turn 1.
-L11 RR makes a great last minute pass after a tight drag race up the back straight to regain the #1 spot.
-L11 Aaaaand our first review of the season!
Wow, lots of chaos to finish the race!
JT escapes the chaos to go on for the W but unfortunately is docked some points. Can JT repeat the victory in the 2nd race?
Race 2 @Suzuka
JT with the pole again, this time by virtue of his win in the previous race
-L2 Mike with a good pass on JT in the Casino Triangle.
-L3 Brett with a great pass on yours truly on the back straight.
Intense racing from different manufacturers. That's what I like to see!
-L3 JT loses control on the Degner Curve after a teensy bit of contact with Mike but manages to hang on. Great Save! But I wonder how long JT will last driving like that before he loses it completely???
-L3 Red drops a tire in the dirt at the Spoon Curve and makes contact with Roadrash but manages not to lose control. Another great save!
-L4 Back and forth battle between Mike and JT for the lead
-L5 Disastrous turn of events for JT as he loses it on turn 9 after a great battle with Mike and drops all the way down to 6th!
-L7 redrobin takes the lead as Mike just exits the pits.
-L9 BK was doing a great job in 3rd place but somehow ends up in the kitty litter through the S curves. I smell a rage quit coming...
-L9 Mike's doing a fantastic job battling for first but ends up flying off track on the entry of the Spoon Curve! Ouch. Better luck next time Mike.
In the end redrobin outfights RR for the victory! Congrats RED!
