I understood that. Oh, and full downforce at Spa is mandatory.

Either way i am toast. I'm a second or so slower a lap compared to those Chevy's.

I'm gonna be late on the ruling guys. I was involved in a a rear end collision this morning, (I was rear ended) and now I barely got enough time to get ready for work and relax.

I'm okay, aside from a bad headache, my Honda got the worst of it

Sorry, DJ. Sounds like no fun at all. That's good advice from NCR and JT in the above posts.

You sure have weird looking license plates in California.

Is this a suggestion or a request to DJ for a series requirement? I for one would not be running full down force at spa.

I was joking.

If anyone is available tonight I'd like to run some laps for the upcoming series to get an idea of times to figure race length. You'll need the 69 Camaro RM full engine upgrade and super charger with race medium tires. I should be on around 9:30. We'll run some laps and do a few quick sprints.

I'll try to make it

I plan on being there .

Nah, the Alfa and the BMW are going to spoil the Camaro's night.... I learned some new moves last night. They worked when used on me so I'll use them.....

LOL it was not fun, neither was working all day with a headache and and feeling kinda dizzy as well. But somebody gots to pay the bills!

I'm reviewing the race incident now.

I have to work earlier than usual tomorrow as well so points will be up probably on sunday.

Email sent out to all parties involved.

Red, if you would like me to take a look at your pit glitch I can but generally we have to live with consequences of online racing. I appreciate you being very diplomatic about it. Maybe GT6 will be better (fingers crossed)

What's good time at spa? I'm glad we're going to a track were its easy to pass!

Last race sucked for me , But I will say there was some great driving , those laps where we were running nose to tail were pretty intense and fun .

Congrats on the win red, and great driving camaros.

Thank you to all the guys that participated last night in the testing.

Thanks dj, but that shouldn't be up for discussion. It is what it is.

Congrats on the win red, and great driving camaros.

Thanks Mike, Roadrash made me earn that one.

I can't remember the times. I want to say mid 2.25 - mid 2.26 range. The BMW and Camaro appear to be the contenders so far this week. The Alfa is heading to the shop for a rebuild.

edit* The rebuild is coming out nicely. Maybe there is hope

The BMW is faster in a straight line and the Camaro is faster in the corners. As long as I use my brain I think the BMW had a chance at the podium.

Unless the Alfa rebuild goes better than expected.....then I'll just drive around in the middle.......

You're welcome. That's going to be a fun series, even the "boring" tracks. Great car choice.

what is this rebuild you talk about?? hmmm! 💡

perhaps send it to me you could :sly:

I'm still messing with 2 different setups. But i got the car taking the turns much better  I'll send you the tune once i tweak it a bit more.

I sure hope Slightly Mad Studios does a better job on Project Cars compared to Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends which they just released last month. I heard that game was pretty bad.

How many laps is SPA again?

I plan on being online this afternoon if anyone wants to run some sprints. Probably 3 EST.

...and now down to the newsroom for the latest update.....

"Today after an extensive multi-team testing session Litter Box Jewel Racing has announced that it's driver, E46Envy, has gone AWOL. Some team members over heard him saying something about a drink and his F'n camping gear. The team is not sure if they'll be able to find someone to replace him behind the wheel of the USS PushBarge, otherwise known as the '07 BMW M3. The team adds that Envy doesn't like to camp. And now back to the weather room for the latest on the storm..."

Legends is pretty much and updated version of shift 2.
pCARS has physics redone from the ground up, and new tire physics model is being worked on now to replace the current version. It looks like shift but drives nothing like it. It may not even look the same at the end, all new textures will be implemented once the game construction is done.

I'm going to retire from endurance racing.
Pushing hard for any length of time just plain hurts. I'm tired of diappointing myself thinking I can jump back into the mix every week. Can't muster the enthusiasm to practice much less run a full race.

Gonna stick to offline where I can lay back and not put so much stress on my arm and shoulder. A few laps in a TT or seasonal is about all I should be doing. Cruising a custom Toscano track at sunset in cockpit view is pretty relaxing! Good luck everyone. Hope to be back some time.

That's disappointing to hear and I hope you have a speedy recovery. You might be able to help me out in the next OGR series though if your interested.

BTW remember when I commented about Grand-Am being silly when there is ALMS... Rumor has it that American Le Mans Series and Grand -Am will combine into one as soon as 2014.

Okay guys, sorry for the delay but race 3 results are up! The OP is updated as well, pics to come tonight or tomorrow.

@NCR sad to see you go but get better buddy.

@BK sounds awesome. Be nice to see some vipers in grand am and some competitive racing in ALMS GT classes. Hope they don't outlaw the Rotary (which ALMS and LM does) but then again no more RX-8s sooo....

I don't think that is a rumor. I think it will be a reality.
