Wow, BK! Thanks for posting that video. Love how there's no commentary. Really gives you a feel for being there. I'll have to watch it all the way thru to see if we're in it, lol. Oh, I kept thinking of you every time that gold chrome Porsche went by!

Lol, not like the TV is still bigger than the PS3.

You know that's a great idea....the PS3 has had many problems with overheating so the best thing to do is reduce the size which effectively reduces the size of the heat sinks on the processors. (Yes, that's sarcasm you smell)
 
Work has driven me crazy today. Will most likely be driving under the influence tonight.
 
Tonight brings about the finale of one of the best STC series yet! The competition has been tight and fierce. Cars that were strong on one track, struggled on others. But all in all it has been very close racing. Something I think DJ had in mind from the start, so I say excellent job DJ! Tonight we will most likely crown a new STC champion. While its been a great run for me, it's time hand over the belt to someone else. I just want to thank all of you that have helped me with tuning and practice, giving me the opportunity to rein for so long. Who ever does claim the crown tonight will be well deserved especially with the level of competition we have at this point. Again thanks guys it's been one hell of a run!!!
 
I, also, think that this has been a really well thought out series. DJ hit this one out of the park.I wish I did not have to miss any races. I enjoyed myself every time on track. This talk of crowning a new champ, seems a bit premature. It is quite possible, but I would never bet any money against RR. Not a dime.

For some reason, my bookie won't take any action on STC events.

Agree, this has been a great series. There have been times i just wanted to fold and toss the ole Alfa in the trash. But i stuck with it and kept battling. I've been happy with my performance and the competition has been stiff. Some great racing has taken place during the duration of this series.

I'm not buying the handing over the crown speech. You aren't fooling anyone. It'll be battle till the checkered flag. Good luck tonight guys!
 
Yes. Great series and great fun. I've had some good door to door bumper to bumper racing. A pleasure as always running with each of you. Great job DJ.
 
A year and two months. Not enough motor skills to get his foot on the pedal without the help of his hand. But enough brain skills to know which pedal is go and to use his hand to try smash his foot down on it.

I call to give Red my finish position as I tapped him going into the bus stop and got him loose. If I didn't hit him he would have finished second. My fault completely.

Yea the last lap will have to be reviewed, it would have been a crazy drag race for the finish though.

From my point of view it looked like red went in too deep at the bus stop and roadroash slowed down. I went around rr and clipped red on the exit, It look like red was in a slide so I didnt lift in the bus stop.

I went deep from getting tapped from RR entering the bus stop. I did all i could save it. By the time i had it under control BK was on my inside. I gave as much room as i could but BK had a head of stem and drifted up into me. It was all over at that point for me. That hurt as all i needed was a 2nd place finish. The drag race would have been interesting.

Scorpion, sorry i got into entering turn 1. I went back and watched the replay. It looked like you cut down from the top line to grab the inside. You guys can review that if need be. I probably should have gave more room. I was in a heated battle with BK assuming Scorpion would let us by.

Thanks guys, man that was intense, you guys who 2 stopped must have been really hauling fast at the end. Pretty damn good season to have it all come down to the last chicane of the last lap of the last race. Good job with this series DJ! And Also RR and Envy for hosting and such.
 
All right guys I just got done reviewing the lap 31 bus stop incident and here is my ruling:

xR0ADRASHx was not under full throttle while he was behind redrobin347 and lifted completely and hit the brakes before contact was made. The contact was not very hard but it was enough to slow red down considerably. I believe Rash acted accordingly by not attempting to pass red while red struggled with his car.

BermudaKID had an opening to pass due to this struggle and while exiting the bus stop red was forced off the road. There just wasn't enough road for them both to fit and BK had the line.

In the end, I judge this to be accidental contact and do not see any reason to switch the final positions of any of the racers. A small points penalty could be applied to xR0ADRASHx but it would not be enough to drop him from the 3rd place finish in the Series Total points so I'm letting the points stand as is.

This matter is now considered closed and I thank everybody involved for respecting this final judgement.

Congratulations to GTP_mike46an2 for earning the Super Tuner Car GT1 Championship!

It was well earned and hard fought and you deserve it!

I also want to give thanks to E46Envy for handling the time machine and making sure we all qualified correctly.

Many thanks go out to xR0ADRASHx as well for hosting the lobby and dealing with the hassle of internet connection glitches and lobby making every week.

I couldn't have run the series without you guys.

Thanks once again to all that participated and now its time for me to relax as the STC goes on vacation once again. Don't worry, I'll have something devious cooked up for the next round!

DJ, you're welcome. Nice job on a fun series.

After my unintentional "beaching" of JT at Motegi I really reigned in my aggressive driving. From there on I wasn't a contender for the points so I spent the rest of the series driving ultra clean....losing many positions in the process. For the IROC series I hope to find my aggressive side again.

Nice work mike, There was no catching you at Daytona. Sorry again to red and rr there at the end of the race, I was too ambitious and ruined the end of an overall awesome race.
